Re: We haven't won a game

In all seriousness Terry I couldn't give a flying fuck. Whoever is appointed will have to work with one hand tied behind their back under the present ownership so I don't think, long term, it will make the slightest difference. You are probably right there mate.Things are not going to change..Has l...

Re: West Ham vs Tottenham Official Match Thread

Can't agree with Wenger tbh. In his early years he flashed the cash quite frequently. He had to be a bit more careful after they built the Emirates which is probably why they haven't come close to winning the league since they moved there. Shortshanks shout of Ranieri is a good one though. But not ...

Not guilty m'lud. I didn't vote because my choice would be Won't make the slightest difference under the present ownership.

Re: West Ham vs Tottenham Official Match Thread

"But show me any manager who has won a league title who hasn't had more to spend than the vast majority of his competitors". Ranieri ? ;) Wenger? Can't agree with Wenger tbh. In his early years he flashed the cash quite frequently. He had to be a bit more careful after they built the Emir...

Re: West Ham vs Tottenham Official Match Thread

Lampard will have them well up for this one. He detests the club and hates the fans even more. Could be messy. Again. A Spurs supporting mate of mine who went yesterday told me Spurs didn't win the game, West Ham lost it. Villarreal, a saved penalty away from reaching a CL final. Malaga in the quar...

Re: Brown stuff

We are poor now but surely you aren't saying we were poor last season. we weren't any great shakes mate....put together a decent run at the end..that was about it. I didn't say we were great. I questioned your assessment that last season we were poor. If 52 points is poor I'll settle for another po...

Re: Roberto

Saved all 3 ??? Absolute nonsense. A top keeper would have saved the first but the 2nd and 3rd were down to calamitous defending by Fredericks and then Diop. Roberto is a poor keeper but ffs people will be blaming him for our lack of attacking threat next. Irrespective of how they ended up taking s...

Re: We haven't won a game

Don't think Gerrard will get a top job, like Liverpool, until he's managed in a decent league. Would you take him? Who would you like to see us appoint? In all seriousness Terry I couldn't give a flying fuck. Whoever is appointed will have to work with one hand tied behind their back under the pres...

Re: Can we arrange a poll

Why British ? Surely it's better to employ someone who is good rather than what passport they hold. And isn't it laughable that names like Dyche are cropping up ? Surely we haven't forgotten all the teeth grinding and knicker wetting when Allardyce & Moyes (both British of course) were appointe...

Re: Next manager appointment (someone young!)

The Cowley's, Eddie Howe, Steven Gerrard, Mikel Arteta should be the sort of manager we should be looking at. Not Rafa, who's retiring in China (sounds familiar), not 60 year old Chris Hughton, sacked at Brighton for boring football. Can this football club please have a bit of ambition and get a yo...
