Re: Phil Jones

Not for me, we have too many injury prone players. I think if he is here next season he will spend a lot of time out through injury and he is very well paid. Infact I would have a drive to get the injury prone players out, even if a player is good when fit is no use to us if they spend months out in...

Re: Manuel talking about how is he transforming us.

He did well at Villareal. Malaga at that time had a very, very good team. He was a little unlucky at Real Madrid, I think the defeat in the Copa Del Rey and exiting the Champions League to Lyon cost him. Despite his previous record I have found some of his choices questionable. We lose the games in ...

Re: Manuel talking about how is he transforming us.

He really does like this “big club mentality” approach doesn’t he. I’m still not sure where he’s going with this tbh. Can you get average players to think and be like “big club” players just through mentality? Are the owners investing like a “big club”? The only “big club mentality” evidence I’ve w...

Re: West Ham vs Everton Official Match Thread

Its reasonable to question the manager when he gets it badly wrong. At what point are you thinking "I know how to improve the side, i'll put Obiang and Perez in"? He knew he got it wrong as he subbed these two players off but the game was lost by then. Overall I am in support of Pellegrini...

Re: Will Lanzini be the same player?

Its certainly true that after an injury like this some players are never the same again, but lets be glass half full and take a look at Ruud Van Nistlerooys goal record for Man U where he transferred following a cruciate ligament injury

Re: West Ham vs Fulham Official Match Thread

I just hope we play five in midfield, though previously I always called for 442, from what I have seen we cannot get into the game when we play 4 in midfield even against lesser sides. We beat Fulham away with 442 but we were a little fortunate and scored two quick goals but they controlled the game...

West Ham without Marko Arnautovic

I have to be honest when we signed Arnautovic I wasn't exactly doing cartwheels, whilst I had seen him score some nice goals my opinion was always that he was what I call a 'match of the day' player (a player who scores the odd outrageous goal and makes some good highlights but when you watch ninety...
