Re: Big Sam

Sam did the job he was employed to do. Promotion and PL stability before the move. Bilic gave us a brill season but has a mixed managerial record. That said memories are short when you think of the last night at UP only being a few months ago. Slav is an experienced manager but not in the PL. Every...

New Job for Rafa Benitez?

Looks like the guy has landed a job with the U.S. secret service.

Re: Please sort it out west ham

I think you'll see some action of sorts this week . CH's round up this morning has most of the tabloids quoting Brady as saying talks will be taking place with the powers that be but it still all looks black and white to me at the moment . Rules is rules full stop. It's how they are implemented tha...

Re: Re : Ministry of Aggro *

We can blame the stewards all we like, but the blame firmly sits with the knuckle dragging fans who actually cause the trouble. From what I have seen they are drunk, abusive, and don't give a shit about anyone but themselves. Fuck them off to start with, someone needs to tell them they are nothing ...

Re: Threatening letters in post

As a lot of people obviously realise the all seating rule is a PL rule and requires a majority vote to change it so it's a no no. Whether anyone likes it or not that is a fact. The only way round this under the present regulations is for the club to do as it has done----basically insist on people si...

Re: West Ham vs Watford Match Thread (LINKS in first post)

Thought I would sleep on it before giving my views on yesterday's shambles . I think our biggest problem right now is our two holding midfielders noble and koyoate who both looked well out of sorts in my humble opinion , Noble doesn't look fit and maybe needs to be dropped for a while to let him ge...

Re: Threatening letters in post

IS THE SAFETY CERTIFICATE GOING TO BE IMPLEMENTED WHEN EVERYONE SITS OR JUST THE HOME FANS? I'm guessing here but presumably if there is an issue with away fans standing the capacity in that area could be reduced (or closed altogether?) meaning fewer tickets for away fans. Quite how that would squa...

Re: Threatening letters in post

Don't really see what else they can do. If people persistently stand there appears to be no way the license will be increased to 60,000, never mind t0 66,000. The club, and I would guess, most of it's supporters, want to see the capacity increased and whether we like it or not it's not going to happ...

Re: We Are Starting To Become A Laughing Stock

Naming rights , for a 10 million pound deal WE ( or is that you?) would receive 3 million owner club 7 million better off , 20 million deal WE ( or is it you ?) would receive 8 million owner club 12 million better off. Catering we get nothing off the first 500k profit based on 20 games a season tha...

Re: Is everything about money?

Love him or hate him I would put Abramovich right up there in the "good owner" stakes. He has invested massively in the academy, built a state of the art training complex, and, most importantly to me, looks as if he actually enjoys watching the matches his team plays. For an avid "fa...
