If he's anything like the Chelsea version, he'd be just another frustrating-as-fuck forward that failed to fire.

And if he couldn't hit the side of a barn with a fistful of wheat when he was getting a dozen opportunities per game at Chelsea, I doubt he'll get much joy from the one opportunity every three games that he'd likely get with us.

Having said that, I think you're right - I doubt it's even a remote possibility anyway.

MANAGER ! left sided attacking player - and a striker , probably need a proper DM backup for Alvarez .

I wouldn't , been unlucky with injuries and he would probably see us as a last chance hotel being 28 now , mind you he is used to sitting on the bench .

Is there any point in bringing players in during January until the managerial situation is sorted out ?

Or has Herr Steidten selected the new manager ? In which case he's probably in discussions with him as we speak.
