Sadly only a couple of players were good yesterday but the squad wasn't balance. Need a change next summer.
Just being curious Ibbs apart from Bowen, who I assume is one of your two, who was the other one ? And if you say Aguerd I will find you and kill you. ;)

And Letchworth is quite a small town so beware.

The 2nd one is..........us FANS.
"I am always correct", but "if I am wrong", please refer to the first phrase.

Lively and Letchworth don't belong in the same sentence.

Just ask Ibby, he'll tell you. ;)

Well said mate. Sums it up for me.

But as for today...? That was a train wreck. :?
I coukd not agree with you more. A thoroughly disgraceful performance.

With the exception of the odd 45minute period here and there we have been awful for weeks .
Not bad for a defensive pragmatic “team” eh ?
Our defence isn’t nowhere near good enough (all Moyes purchases?) , Soucek and/or JWP are NOT defensive midfielders .

Question: do we lose that 5-0 if Flynn Downes was playing the Alvarez role ?
I would suggest the answer to that is most certainly yes. Correct me if I am wrong but Alvarez did not play in the Fulham game.

He us alao a better player than Downes.

Having said that, I do not see how today's performance is even remotely excusable.
It isn't excusable, however, we've seen a lot of teams out there lose games and lose them badly this season. It happens.

What is quite amusing is seeing all the moaning-faced types crawl out from under their rocks now we've lost. Didn't really see much of them when we beat Spuds, Arsenal or Chelsea
You certainly have a point with your final observation.

I don’t think you understood what I was saying .
Alvarez didn’t play. correct .

So who played the position Alvarez would normally fill ?
I suggested nobody . Because our only other Defensive midfielder is out on loan .
As you were.

But surely the question must be asked whether it was the Moyesiah or Obergruppenfuhrer Steidten who rubber stamped the loan deal that exiled young Mr Downes to the South Coast.

Agendas are at stake here for heaven's sake.
