Fuck me though, as much as we need a lb there is no signing that will make me happier than if we get Tarkowski. The bloke’s a brick wall with pace & positioning. Just one season of him playing behind Rice would be amazing & would probably drive Declan’s price up north of £70m.
Make you right, I suspect selling Diop will fund the fullback positions...
It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

Is Tarkowski an upgrade on Diop & Ogbonna ? Don't see it tbh. And he wouldn't be brought in as a back up. Illogical.
Why Is There Only One Monopolies Commission. Isn't That A Monopoly?

It’s a moot point anyway Whisk as Sullivan can’t afford Tarkowski at Burnley’s valuation anyway .
However the writing looks on the wall for Diop.
Tarkowski is much more the Messiah’s cup of tea , kick bollock bite & elbows.
Totally understandable considering his recent comments about needing more experienced Centre Backs .
Cresswell must be breathing one enormous sigh of relief.

I think if you watched our recent game against them, he was head and shoulders above Diop & Ogbonna. Proper nasty defender which tbh is probably what we need.

The question isn't really is Tarkowski an upgrade on what we have? That's probably a yes.
The question is are we going to make an offer that's likely to be accepted?
I'm reading we've offered anywhere between £20m, no chance, and £27m, which still seems short. He's a key player for Burnley, still has 2 years on his contract, and at 27 should be in his prime.
Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.
