I guarantee he's got some kind of mental disorder. There's trolling -- which can be clever and funny -- and then there's pathological behaviour. Which his clearly is.
I don't think ignoring him does any good as he'll just resurface with a different moniker, acting like slightly less of a lunatic until his feet are under the table.
I wasn't joking about giving his ip to Bill, an unmasking might be the only thing that puts a stop to him for good. And as no-one on here seems the violent, vindictive type, I don't see the harm.
Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.

There was a point a couple of years ago where it became quite personal and invaded my private life. A few on here who have chatted to me on the boats are aware of it but my personal details, address had clearly been harvested.
I passed the details onto the police. Whoever it was had slipped up and used a wifi (to log in on here) with their phone which I can only assume was a work one. It was the one time the ip had not been hidden and it gave a location in Ilford down to a 30 yard radius.
The Police kept the records but weren't prepared to look into the private stuff to confirm if it was the same person. No crime had been committed but they agreed that it was troubling behavior and asked me to report any escalation.
I've tried to be reasonable though but everyone has their limits. There are two people in particular who our troll has gone too far with though and his anonymity has certainly helped him.
