Next Seasons Kit

Post by garnett »

Morning, I`m bringing this up because of this season`s awful kit.

My question is this, should kit selection be a public vote rather than someone at the club choosing it.
I have been to the store this week and some new stuff is in, frankly its all rubbish,

Does it not make commercial sense to have the most popular ?

If some clever sod can do the poll thingy I would appreciate it

There’s meant to be a sub group from the OSB meeting with Umbro to discuss next seasons kit.

There are genuinely a few people on twitter who are excellent at knocking up West Ham kits and are always better than the actual one.

I've seen some very good shirt layouts by some very good kit designers albeit with Adidas and Nike branding. I like to see some kids from a local school design something but I'm sure the lads will have blues arms next season ;)

The season after next, our sponsor will be Nike.

It will cost a fortune to buy the shirt.Expect a 15% rise at least.

Aside from the really big clubs who get their own bespoke design, aren't the rest all done off templates for the most part? If you look at the Adidas, Nike, Umbro or whatever for most seasons you'll see that the clubs who work with them all have kits based off the same three or four templates.

I imagine that applies to us as well, no?

Yep. Thats why ours and Everton's kit look so similar.

Ladies and Gentlemen (I'm not actually sure we have either on here)...

I said around January that next seasons kits are retro, which I think will please most supporters.

They were described to me as very sexy and proper retro.

The home shirt will be fairly obvious but I'll try and find out about the away kit on Saturday and report back.

Still no news on the away kit, sorry, but you can help influence the 2020/21 season kits here
