"the very fact that West Ham are one of the first clubs involved tells you that it's a get-rich-quick scheme and not a genuine fan engagement platform. If it were, West Ham's owners would run a mile from it."
There is no worse case scenario though.
The argument that it could turn into something worthy of outrage could be applied to anything.
Let's wait until having £1000 worth of Socios credits gives you season ticket priority before jumping up and down about it.

The club don't give a monkeys about the fans.
The fans money, yes, the fans themselves no.
If SuGo do change their ways it won't be to please the fanbase, it will be to maximise a return on investment.
Any scheme the club launches will be to that end.
Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.

It will end when people decide to keep their money in their wallets instead of shelling out to "interact and engage" whatever the fuck that's supposed to mean, with the club. If people are dumb enough to pay for something like that, let them get on with it is my take on it. You can't save everyone from their own stupidity.

If anybody needed any proof that keeping your money in your bank account instead of West Ham's, and therefore the dwarf's account, the death of the Socios partnership is that proof. It seems the partnership has been scrapped without a single "fan token", the name given to the things which could be purchased, being issued. Fan power eh !
