Not true. Newcastle were never in for him and we offered more add-ons than Palarse
Yep and it was done late as Hull didnt want to sell but then insisted on signing players before he and Grosicki left. The deal was not signed till very late and the player did not get back until 2am....that is why he was not on the bench.
If you look at a lot of clubs....same thing happens every window especially in Jan.
Newcastle never bud and Palace bid leas (16m) with less saddens and the player wanted to come to us not them. We also offered him far more wages than Crystal Palace.
A good signing....far more mobile than the French lamp post.
All down to agent asking for get out clause and cutting money if /when relegation happens .
Shit happens.
But I don’t think he’s endeared himself to fans yet
