Has I and Whiskyman have said, these people will NEVER be skint. That is a very important part of them affording to buy Newcastle or whoever it is they decide to invest in?.Money isn`t an issue to them.It will NEVER be a problem. They could could probably buy every PL club if they wanted to.

End of argument.
Terry, I'm getting a little bit annoyed with you. I think you're purposely not thinking about the subject.
If you have ever dealt with mega rich people, you will know that their value of the pound is far greater than the bloke living on a council estate (oziron).
They would not purchase Newcastle if they thought it was a depreciating asset.
End of thread, and your respectability if you persist in disagreeing with plain, simple facts.
Just asking, why would you ridicule people leaving in council houses?

How is that ridiculing? Exact opposite.
It is obvious that people living in council houses do not have the same funds as the mega rich. I am saying they are not as consumed with money as the mega rich. Surely everyone sees that as a compliment to council tenants.
I know what group of people I would prefer to socialise with, and they don't drive Bentleys.

p.s My Mum was born Roman Road and my Dad was born Forest Gate. Cant be much more working class than that.

Purely on the basis in which you said it - with your obvious spat with oz. Therefore using it in a condescending context which null and voids the rest of your post.

I believe you about your roots etc. and I actually think I know what you’re alluding to, but imo you could have used a different way of putting it, or ignored the oz thing.

Just my opinion tho

Fair point.
The uz comment was just a bit of fun. Let's not micro analyse every comment on here as 90% of the posts will prove what a bunch of c###s the posters are ;)

I think you are talking crap on this subject,so are questioning why?

You,has well has me,know Newcastle with their fan base will be an asset. If they got successful, they could easy get 80,000 at Home games,They are an asset, but I don`t think the Arabs are looking on how much money they are going to make.
It`s very similar situation at City. They are in it to put Newcastle on the map of the World,by winning trophies. That`s why they are buying Newcastle, not to make money..Finances isn't a worry to them. You seem to think it is?
In comparison let`s look how the Yanks work in the PL.The Glaziers mortgaged Man Utd to buy them and Kroenke brought Arsenal to fund his other business's.They use their football clubs to make money for themselves, where the Arabs don't.

Back to the original subject..Do you think Football Clubs are going to be worth more..About the same..Or less than before the pandemic?
All the Financial Experts are saying a lot less

The way your mind works,I reckon, you are going to say more.

We all must have a good idea where they moved to when they had you, it was clearly not anywhere near Barking Road, you're no fan of WH

Lets be honest, the players and coaches are being forced into a situation they don't want to be in.I wouldn`t be surprised if over half don't participate.
It`s all to do with Broadcasters and Chairmen/Directors wanting their money, which I can understand. We are just in a climate, where it`s just very difficult to do.
I just wonder how “eager” the players would be to get back playing if they had been furloughed without pay like some other top sports clubs?
I was chatting to a mate in the U.S yesterday and he said the MLB clubs aren’t paying many of their players and they are all chomping at the bit to get back.

It’s funny how $$$$ does wonders for a person’s sense of “duty” 😉
Tone, hasn't it occurred to you they might be concerned about their integrity ? ;)

I’m picturing a famous Basil Fawlty scene....... “vvvoooomm..... what was that?. That was your integrity mate. Oh, do I get another one? Sorry mate that’s your lot”
Fancy calling your only son "Barnestoneworth"
He's got another name....
Yeah....."United"

I do wonder how the players would react if they said the Clubs will not pay them till they come back?
