Tottenham vs West Ham Official Match Thread

Post by Ibbyham »

Following our awful display against Wolves which I felt it was a match that we have a chance to get some points but lost which I said to my son at half-time West Ham will lose at the end if they played that lhat! Anderson should NEVER play for us again, crap player who doesn't seemed to be bother so need to get rid of him and should have got Diangara now than waiting for next season. Hopefully Ogbonna will be back so that Rice can push up to midfielder slot. Need to stop pacy Son and Alli attacking us with Brucie in the middle.

Squad:

Fabianski

Frederick
Diop
Ogbonna
Cresswell - need to do better or Johnson can replace him.

Rice
Noble
Soucek
Fornals

Antonio
Bowen

COYI, let us beat those headless clown like we did last season! whufc_crest whufc_crest whufc_crest

There's no way that Fredericks should be anywhere near the squad, never mind the team imo. Unless the useless article can drive the coach.

Nailed on nul points imo. Anything less than a 0-3 defeat I'd see as a good outcome.

I think it will be very difficult for us to stop pacy players with Nobes on the pitch, :)

If we ever get anything out of the Spuds it’s usually down to our fans and our irrational hatred of all things Tottenham.

That can’t happen here so I agree with Whisky .

Anything less than 3 will be a touch.

I won’t be watching the lily livered knee bending Cunts .

Dinosaur Cunt OUT.

Still.

We have no chance and I hate saying that.
Antonio is not a striker play him on the left wing Bowen right, lanzini behind the young portugeezer.
Play Ngakia one last time as Fredericks is shit and put Johnson in for cresswell.
Anderson is not a fighter and we need one at this time, and fuck yarma-one footed cunt - offski

Ogbonna back in defense which releases Rice back in midfield. Draft Wilshere alongside Noble as it's Tottenham.

If Haller is available bring back Snodgrass for his crossing.

Anderson,Fornals and Soucek on the bench. Use all of them second half.

Will it work, probably not. Prediction 1-1

I have zero justification, but I think we will win 1-0.

Some thoughts, having been unable to watch the Wolves game

Ngakia is our best RB, if playing him short term is the best chance of getting a vital point or three, then play him - and one less chance for Fredericks to get injured while there is cover for him.

I would have played Noble for this game, but not now since he played yesterday, his performance notwithstanding

Wilshere is our best player technically, if he is fit and ready, play him until he isnt. Cant not play him because he might get hurt, we have 5 subs for that reason (someone please inform Moyes of this fact).

Even if Oggy is not back, start Balbuena, we need Rice further forward.

Anderson can be a baller. BUT if he plays like that, there is no way Moyes can persist with him and has to be dropped for this one. Shame, I thought he would have been the best tool for the Wolves job with his pace and skill being somewhat comparable to what they have.

We need Antonio to start, but he played 90 mins against Wolves, can he play again so soon?

My team
Fab
Ngakia Diop Oggy Johnson
Rice Soucek
Bowen Wilshere Antonio
Haller

Bowen & Antonio go forward with Haller as a front 3, but drop back when not in possession to protect the kids.

What I do worry about that is Antonio will most likely not last 90, who replaces him particularly with inexperienced Johnson behind him. Holland? Masuaku as a winger? Snoddy? yarmo?

Imo whatever line up we employ it won't work for two very basic reasons.

1. Man for man Spurs have better players in virtually every position
2 Jose Mourinho is a far more astute tactician and manager than David Moyes.

If we keep the margin of defeat down to 3 or under I'll consider that a result.

And unfortunately the same logic, playing strength and managerial nous, applies to Chelsea who are next up.
