Wouldn't be a bad trade off imo if Loftus-Cheek wasn't a bad tackle away from a season keeping Wheelchair company in the treatment room.

I would have taken both Rudiger and L-C on talent but they both have a horrendous injury history , thats why they are being offered to us .

I believe that the club told Chelsea not to bid earlier in the window as they would not entertain any deal for Rice and so they have not. It seems Lampard only wanted Rice as a CB but there are better out there and they need one for sure. That may change but that is where they are.

Rudiger is only available as he had a bust up with the training staff and RL-C and Barkley just had not played enough games though I am sure Barkley will get games at Villa.

Cracking player but way out of our league. He'll end up at a Champions league heavyweight if he does leave. Don't understand why Pep doesn't seem to rate him, I think he's every bit as good as Mendy and in a couple of years will be even better.
