If anyone can take the polish off of a win its Jim White having his strings pulled by Sullivan live on air. He has Terry Creasy on with him who was apparently Bobby Moore's best friend and is a close friend of David Gold. Terry Creasy backs the board, he thinks the fans are unfair, they have put their money with their mouth is and really tried to do their best by West Ham. Jim White thinks we are largely a deranged fan base to still be tweeting GSB out after we have won in such emphatic fashion. Danny Murphy thinks we should not be concerning ourselves with being personal with the board, we should only be worried about what happens on the pitch. Simon Jordan says on one hand that they have not handled the stadium move well, and that they have not fulfilled promises. However, on the next hand he said it's not the 60 thousand fans that watch West Ham on a match day that are being this unreasonable. It's a viciforous minority, the same fans that were screaming for Fat Sams head when he was manager but then quote him talking negatively about Sullivan as if he is now the Oracle.

Meh. Just looking for a reaction which results in fans calling up their premium rate phone line.
Facts are, the stadium move has not provided the improvements in performance (on and off the pitch) they said it would, and we remain a shambolically run football club, only one that's been stripped of its identity in the process. The pay off for the move (increased spending capability, bigger draw, better team) has not, and simply will not happen under this ownership.
And they knew it.
Sullivan admitted himself that the move was only going to result in an extra £11m a year in revenue (less than Villa paid for each of their full backs btw), and Gold said (with words and everything) that his main motivation for the move was "stadium bragging rights".
They're absolutely incompetent, and their view on football in general terms is embarrassing.
As a fan base, we've never been shy to kick off if the respective chairmen or owners of the club have taken the piss, but overall we're fiercely loyal to the team on the pitch, even if that team has been garbage. Sure we moan about tactics, players and managers etc - the same as the fans of every other club in the world - but what's happening now is completely separate to all that. It's the holding to account of the people who bullshitted their way into putting the club into the situation it's in.
As for Murphy. The fact he's quoting the old 'yo-yo club' cliche despite the fact we've spent the vast majority of modern day football in the top flight says a lot more about him than it does us. And Jim White is an irrelevance. His opinion means the square root of fuck all.
