What a crazy day for results, and we started the trend with our win over Leicester. ;)

Games still look, sound and feel a bit gutless though Tel.
Dangerous if we start getting used to empty stadia.
Then Sky et al have half won their battle.

Training games, with no pressure. It's sterile

Yep.
We always hear about players doing “amazing stuff in training” away from the pressure of the crowd.
Great players do the bizzo under pressure.

No fans allows talented but more bottle-prone players to flourish.

Certainly entertaining for the armchair fans where let’s face it is what Sky wants.

The future of football ?

What battle ? There have obviously always been more people watching games on the box haven't there ? Of course it's better with people inside the stadium but to present it as some sort of "battle" is surely a bit of an exaggeration isn't it ?

I don’t ******* know I’d been in the pub all afternoon and evening.
I think through the haze I was reasoning that maybe Sky would like empty stadia in order to negotiate much lower contract rates with the P.L for TV rights.

Not quite sure why but then I’m not quite sure of many things when I’ve been in the pub all afternoon and evening.

At least you're sure enough to decide to spend your spare time productively my good man. ;)

I trust the beer flowed well. I was in my local on Friday and discovered that this coronavirus is one clever fucker. It seems I CAN catch, or spread it, if I carry beers back to our table---they have to be served by a staff member---but I CAN'T catch or spread it when walking up to the bar to place my order which everyone was doing.

Don't think the crowds in or out bothers the TV broadcasters...what's more important on their agenda is the Kick off times..
every game in the PL having a different K.O time suits...and...
The implementation of Var...the way it's handled/ used..the changing rules on Handballs/Penalties...to cause controversy,
fucks the actual game up...but makes it more dramatic, better TV..
Big proportion of people watching are happy with that....

The Football purists can fuck off ,not about you...
