I always believe buying a player from a top club like Man U is a mistake.

They think they are doing you and the club a favour.

Far too young.

But we're looking at taking Edin Dzeko, nearly 35.

That's the spirit !

Makes no sense to me.
Just because he has fallen out with OGS does not mean he is underperforming, he's just not playing.

Whatever happened just before March lockdown must have really pissed off OGS, or he threw a strop. That plus he now has Fernandez, Pogba, Fred, McTominay, Greenwood and de Beek ahead of him in the pecking order means he needs to move on.

If Yarma 31 and Lanzini 27 leave which is highly possible, and with Noble 34 coming to the end and Snodders 33 leaving we lack an experienced midfielder who can play anywhere and Lindgard has pace which is more than can be said for those players listed. It still allows you to bring in players like Benny and doesn't leave a gaping hole in the squad.
So you think lindgaard was playing good before lockdown?
Lingaard has not played well for last two and half seasons. He cannot get near Man Utd squad because obviously his attitude is not right.

What has happened to the young hungry players Moyes referred to signing?
It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

If the Moysiah wants him who are we to judge , after all he has us up to 7th in the league and into the 5th round of the F.A Cup , we have to trust his judgement , if the backing isn't forth coming from the owners I suppose he has to take what he can on loan .

That there is the mini problem. The "Moyze" wants him on loan (if he can get him) but that then requires Benjamin or Craig to be signed as permanent. Due to the two domestic player loan ceiling.

Now some peeps, have suggested that the big Jessie is not worthy of even a loan placement. I'm not in a position to argue against that but I haven't noticed anyone yet actually suggest that what the team are badly missing "...is a Jesse Lingard type player"

...in fact, I haven't heard anyone ever say that...ever

When Manu is getting game time and not performing anywhere near his best, bringing a proven quality player in with pace, guile that can score goals is a no brainer.
Haller was supposed to have that reputation, or so we thought...Lingard sounds like Ravel Morrison and Haller merged into one...but possibly worse

Any incoming MFers must have a Defensive side to their game...we can make do and have enough up front with what we have.
Get a Striker in by all means, but an MFer...has to be a Dec/Tomas type player....only area we dont have back up.

It would mean Nobes not even making Squad tho...wonder if that's part of the thinking...
