Note-sorry for bumping post mark but need to stick it in OP!!

I saw the show today chaps and a great show it was, which got me thinking....Who would you change and why and who would you put in their place? What formation would you like? Why? Think of going forward and defending! Who would you have on the bench, why?

I need to shoot out, but will give my ideas a little later, but would love to see your thoughts and maybe forward onto Slaven....lol

Personally mate I'd like to see Oxford given a go somewhere in the team and possibly at RB if Arbeloa is not yet fit but perhaps in front of the defence might also be an option.

Either Kouyate or Noble probably need to be dropped for this one and I'd still expect Antonio, Payet & Lanzini to play well.

I'll reserve my prediction until I've seen the starting line up .

I reckon Byram will pay the price . Which unfortunately means you know what :(

Calleri should play to get that confidence building winning goal though ;)

Same team for me. They can get a result. If after this players are not getting results then a change may be needed.
I'm not saying I hate you, but I would unplug your life support to charge my phone

My Formation would be: 4 1 3 1 1

Adrian - Everyone has a bad game and deserves another chance.

Byram - Has done nothing wrong, gives us balance at the back - Not supported very well by Ginge in last game.

Oxford - I think this guy needs his chance, great in the air, isn't easily turned and has speed of thought and reaction that Ginge no longer has.

Ogbonna - Strong Defensively, not too slow and is good in the air, he has to stop the grabbing in the area.

Arthur - Excellent LB and will give Creswell a run for his money, wish he would cross the ball more when in final third

Kouyate - Proved himself as a defender and would do well protecting the back 4,

Payet - Automatic Pick

Noble - Centre Mid and Capt, Works like a Trojan, breaks up play, wins balls and distribution is normally very good, can lose the ball but must work on this.

Antonio - Automatic Pick

Lanzini - Works well with Payet, has creativity, flair and a good shot. Can also feed off knock downs from CF

Zaza - No other real options at the moment.

Subs:

Randolph - Automatic Pick

Reid - Centre Back Cover

Arbeloa - Full Back Cover

Nordtviet - Cover for Kouyate, Noble

Calleri - Cover for Lanzini

Fletcher - Cover for Zaza and Lanzini

Feghouli - Cover for Antonio and Payet

The above is based on those fit. If Feghouli not fit, has to be Tore.

I still believe we have a fantastic squad, we have several players out and can still field a quality team.

What's your choices and why?

I liked Scott's analogy regards AC - a plumber who doesn't fix leaks. But what about the plumbers mate who fixes the leaks. Sakho immediately springs to mind although that's water under the fridge.

Then there is Calleri who looks to be trying too hard to faucet and Zaza who might have the wrong tools for the job.
Obviously Ashley Fletcher is a promising apprentice, but is it safe to plunge him in at the deep end ? Maybe it's sink or swim time...

I think we'll win but I have concerns over what I think the line up will be.

I think the line up will be this....

Adrian
Antonio Oxford Ogbonna Masuaku
Noble Nordveit
Feghouli Lanzini Payet
Zaza

Subs:
Adrian
Reid
Arbeloa (fit enough for the bench I reckon)
Kouyate
Tore
Fletcher
Calleri

don't want Antonio at RB. He's our biggest goal threat. Still think Lanzini should be swapped with Payet. I think Lanzini has more energy and stamina and can support Masuaku. Zaza needs another chance but he needs to be supported. He barely got any support on Saturday. Still think he showed some promise. His control needs to improve though. I also think he was being very careful after his stupid yellow.
COYI!!!
