He certainly does not appear to have thought that one through. No doubt he regrets his ill-conceived and ill-thought-out comments.
He was rightly taken to task by Simon Jordan, and it looks like he may be dropped by TalkSport Radio. They have issued a statement to the effect that he will not be on the radio station whilst they investigate. Investigate what ffs!?! I can only assume that they are waiting to see just how much back lash there will be before they decide whether they can afford to bring him back or not.
