Was meant to be announced after beating Bristol City at home.
Media know, it's why they're all running cover for him and Sullivan is quiet, refraining from his usual "he's got x games to save his job ".
Sacking him not an option this season under any circumstances due to cost. The only out is if he's averaging under 1.2 points per game after a quarter of the season but that clause doesn't kick in until next season.
If that is true then it is stupidity of the highest order. What evidence has the board got to warrant giving Moyes 4.5 years extra time. I am thinking its a load of old guff. It would cost them more to be shod when he is on a 4.5 year

The problem is Joe, with Sullivan this is believable

Sadly true, 4 1/2 years.

Our record in the domestic cups isn't the best actually it's atrocious , and someone expected us to beat Bristol City at home . So who in their right mind comes up with giving Bugeyes a 4 1/2 year deal anyway ? .
Club is run like a circus , how are all the cards held by a manager and not the club ? . Any other work place if your incompetent , and given multiple chances to get it right and can't , your dismissed , you don't get a golden handshake .
This in all seriousness must just be a load of old flannel .

That’s very true. And what also puzzles me is the growing clamour in some quarters for Heitinga and maybe Nolan to be placed in charge. Laughable really. Am I missing something? How can members of the coaching team be excused from the present dilemma?
Why Is There Only One Monopolies Commission. Isn't That A Monopoly?
Can read that two ways. Going from someone who is supposedly asked for a new contract after the Bournemouth game, to someone who now says he has been offered one to sign says either the terms arent good or he wants a way out to save face. Of course he might be getting pissed off with the fan base.
I think you are all needlessly jumping to conclusions......at no point in the article or from Moyes statement does it actually state that the contract he is about to sign is in fact a Contract of Employment........it could be, on the other hand be a Termination Contract ....
