It’s a worry that Aaron Cresswell appears to have declined the offer of a one year extension to his contract .

Credit to him for doing the right thing and moving on but it’s a real problem that these old past it players keep getting contract extensions so that Sullivan doesn’t have to buy replacements.
Amorim will be well pleased when he rocks up to Cresswell Ogbonna and Flapianski greeting him .

Can you imagine it ????

Our director of football can’t be behind this strategy SHIRLEY ?

Whether he's driving it or not is immaterial though isn't it ? Either the bloke is in charge of these things or he isn't. And if he was promised he would be in charge but now finds the dwarf and, maybe, the haggis worrier have an equal, or greater, say then surely he will do one at the earliest opportunity. On the other hand if he wasn't promised full control---------well, who knows what his fucking job is? Like most of the events at West Ham transparency isn't high on the dwarf's wish list. I guess it's a KGB thing.

I'm just wondering how long it will be before the Tim noshers start referring to him as "the fucking kraut cunt". ;)

It is almost certain the likes of Antonio, Cresswell and Ings will be offered new contracts, whether they accept them or not is a different matter. We will be desperately short on Home Grown Players next season, the 3 above are all classed as home grown as is Johnson and Anang who will both be likely to leave at the end of the season, Coventry was another who was home grown, he´s already gone. To be able to have full 25 player squad we need 8 home growns. At present we have the five above plus Bowen and JWP.
A nightmare scenario ...... if all five left. as there is a premium price on homegrown players even with limited ability and very few of our U21 eligible.

What's Wesley Gassova like Andy ?

Apparently we've made a bid.

In my opinion... :D .......nothing special at the moment but certainly one for the future.....as a left winger you would of expected a little more. Saying that he scored 2 yesterday, but his crosses are very similar to Bennies ..... very hit and miss.
People must see something in him as Athl. Madrid have also made a bid for him today ......is he better than what we have .....honestly not really just yet. Maybe the money could be spent better else where.

Your pessimism is totally unfounded old chap. These contract extensions are all part olf a bigger plan. I have it on good authority that the clkub are about to announce a massive new sponsorship deal next month when all will become clear. Who are these new sponsors you may well ask.Exciting times.

Thanks Andy.

Steidten watched him and made the recommendation apparently. First bid of 15m was rejected and we're going back with 18m.

But we've had lots of 'ones for the future'.

Indeed. He's 19 so he may get a game by 2035.
