So it seems Sullivan's missing out on a manager very few want. He'd have been an upgrade but we can do better.
Can we though. Seems no one has a good word for Sully an d he's the big white chief who calls the shots. Coaches and managers know this and so do agents. Doesn't make West Ham an attractive posting in my eyes mate. I don't like working with one hand tied up behind my back. Why would anyone else put up with it..
Yeah you're probably right mate.

Wishful thinking I guess.

You've hit the nail on the head there mate., Some of our fan base have got the idea that West Ham as a club is a top gig. It may well be a decent gig one day but b efore that happens the pornmeister has to sell up or drop dead. And the latter seems the best optioin for the club as the business circles he moves in are not the kind populated by the likes of Jim Ratcliffe. Look who he sold Birmingham City to and then look up his relationship with Laurence Bassini, another guy who has tried to go down the football owbership road.

Liverpool have shown how to handle this sort of issue. They've agreed a deal to bring in Slot for Feijenoord. Job done, signed and sealed. We, on the other hand, are apprently still undecided whether or not Moyes is staying. Agents and players therefore at this stage of proceedings have no idea who they will be playing for should they want to sign for Werst Ham.

West Ham continues to show the world how precisely not to run a multi million pound concern. :

Moyes has the Barnet of a MOD.
Sta-Prest strides ..desert boots and a monkey jacket would elevate his image somewhat.
His bottom feeder needs replacing.

Surely this cannot be the case ? , not at West Ham , things like this wouldn't happen , the owner bringing in a manager he wants , rather then the one who the TD thinks is the better fit for the club .

If the rumours, and of course I stress rumours, about Steidten not being on board with a possible Lopetegui appointment the I would expect him to walk if he has any self respect.

If Lopetegui comes in and Steidten stays we’ve got two options. One is to assume Steidten is happy enough with the appointment. The other is to conclude that he is the latest in a line of employees who for the sake of a decent sized pay cheque are happy to be led by the nose in whatever direction the dwarf wants them to go.

Football insider Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Julen Lopetegui has agreed to become West Ham’s next manager, succeeding David Moyes.

Concerns had been raised that the appointment was too similar to David Moyes, with worries that Lopetegui would not integrate West Ham’s academy players into the first team. There have also been rumours that Hammers chairman David Sullivan ignored the advice of football director Tim Steidten in his pursuit of the former Real Madrid and Spain coach.

I for one if I had the choice would not want him as our next manager .

Though we still appear to be talking to others one being Former Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick
