" It’s sad to see it end this way because he’s done superbly at the London Stadium, easily becoming the greatest manager to grace East London in generations".
" If there’s anyone from the last few decades who deserves a statue at the London Stadium, it’s Moyes, which is why it’s so sad to see what looks like a team that’s completely given up ruining his Stratford swansong " .
The clue is at the top of the article. Danny Wright is the bloke's name. Not up there with Bernstein and Woodward but, hey, who cares ?
Statues ??? Ridiculous idea but "the greatest West Ham manager in generation" ? It's a low bar if we take a generation as being , say 30 years isn't it?
Redknapp, Roeder, Pardew, Curbishley, Zola, Grant, Allardyce, Bilic, Pellegrini-----------and Moyes. A sad state of affairs but he does have a point, bujt FFS say "best" not "greatest" to give the piece some credibility, when we run through that pile of mediocrity. And I say that as someone who was very upbeat when we announced Pellegrini was incoming.
