Great car!.... ;)
Thanks mate. Best I've ever had. It's the love of my life. Just don't tell the wife 🙈😂
As long as you lubricate, should last a long time!... 🙈😂

Lando Norris is really impressing me at the moment. Qualified 5th again and beating his experienced team mate Sainz.

He also celebrated the British Grand Prix by wearing a helmet designed by a 6 year old girl.

Hamilton on Pole,
Bottas 2nd and Verstappen 3rd. George Russell qualified 15th again but ended up with a 5 place penalty, will start in last place. :( Bad day for Albon 12th.

Hamilton: A difficult qualifying. Spun it in Q2, yet still ended up 0.3s ahead of Bottas when it counted. Brilliant!

Verstappen: P3 but over a second down on P1. I'm predicting a very lonely race for him.

Leclerc: Amazing performance to get a dog of a car onto the 2nd row, but difficult to see how he can keep it there. He's starting on the Mediums, which is good, and he is an amazing driver. But that Ferrari is just plain awful!

Norris: This guy is fast becoming a superstar, both on and off the track. Fantastic performance to get to P5.
And THAT helmet! Superb. There has been so much talk about how the sport can attract a younger audience. Well we have the answer. The answer is Lando Norris.

Stroll: Hugely disappointing. That car is made for this circuit and I fully expected him to put it on P3. But in the end he was half a second away from P3. Not good.

Vettel: Awful. Just awful. P10 and starting on the soft tyres. Time to hang up your helmet Seb.

Gasly: Came within 0.001s from knocking Stroll out in Q2. P11 and a choice of tyres. Expecting a good race from him.

Albon: Buckling under the pressure. The second Red Bull seat is a very tough one. You need to be strong. Alex isn't.
I don't think he will get the axe mid-season as previously happened with both Kvyat and Gasly, so he has time to up his game. But I'm just not seeing it. Perez for Red Bull next year anyone!? ;-)

Hulkenberg: A tough job in very difficult circumstances but still, P13 is a little disappointing. I'm expecting to come away with a bag-full of points though.

Russell: This guy is on the cusp of setting a record of 'Most consecutive times out qualifying a team mate'. And yet he's never scored a point in his F1 career. Funny old game!

In fairness to Hulkenburg he did not get a lot of time. Agree with your conclusion getting points.

Vettel on the hand had mechanical issues in practice sessions, limiting his time in qualifying. Personally I just wish he would hang up his helmet. Though quick at times, he makes mistakes when it matters and that's costly for a team. Personally if you had to drop anyone at Racing Point, it should be Lance Stroll if Vettel was a consideration to join the team. Stroll Snr should be looking for a seat for Lance if Vettel should join. Perez is too valuable and very reliable scoring points.

Would love George Russell to score his first points.

Wow, it seems those people who find F1 boring, those last laps are definitely worth watching. :)

Hamilton wins.

Verstappen 2nd LeClerc 3rd..

3 punctures towards the end with Bottas first, then Sainz and Hamilton on the last lap. Despite this, Hamilton was able to limp back and win the British Grand Prix.

Sadly for Bottas and Sainz who failed to score. Good solid points for Norris 5th

This now leaves Hamilton with a 30 point advantage over Bottas in the Championship. Surprised at Stroll, thought he might do better in the pink Mercedes. Very sad for Hulkenberg. No race for him. :( .... depending on Perez's condition, he may not race again for next week?

Where was Vettel ? :? 10th

Three punctures, all with the hard tyre. And next week we won't have that hard tyre. The tyres will be one step softer.

The tyre issues were down to that early first stop. I think all 3 punctures would've been avoided if the stops had gone to plan.
Impressed with Sainz though. I think he might give Leclerc more competition at Ferrari than people think.
Vettel looks to have pretty much given up -- as Ferrari reportedly have too, saying they don't expect to be competitive until 2022.

Just goes to show the work and detail....design/tuning/engine management/ etc goes into these things...2 Cars drive exactly the
same race more or less...and have punctures at exactly the same time....Fascinating..

They gave LH a little shout out as well...wonder if he did ease up or not....or would it still have gone....poss that race
has gave the WC already to him....now needs a DNF and a Bottas in win same race to turn it around...can happen spose...
cos no one else is getting close this year.

Just put couple Pirellis on mine....be taking it easy on MKs dual carriageways.....
