That HAS to be a joke SURELY ?

That’s your Tory mates for ya

Sounds like a Sullivan try before you buy deal , agree a shit deal , fuck everybody over for 18 months and then get the referendum result overturned .

It’ll have taken em 6 years but eventually they’ll get the result they wanted originally and not ONE immigrant will have been challenged on entry in the meanwhile.

As a Brit living in mainland Europe I guess it should come as no surprise to you that I was very much in the Remain camp. But I know many of you here were Leavers.
So to you Leavers, how do you feel about this deal on first impressions? Happy with it? Or not? What do you feel you've gained? And what have you lost?

Fuck...how'd you suss out I was a totally Biased Blue Arse...thought I'd kept that hidden.....

TBH Never quite got what the "Deal" was...There's a Deal about 10 miles up the road from Dover....thought they were
banging on about that...

Seriously tho when this shit first started...read it could take 6/7 years to get everything in place...AFTER we left..with all
the different new contracts, agreements and deals that would have to be drawn up, there would be thousands of
separate negotiations going on,with different Companies and businesses drawing up individual needs and requirements.
There's no one deal that sorts everything, can't be.
Just hoping that all the stuff that would have been done after leaving has been moreorless done..so everything
is a bit more cut and dried when Companies come to do the Import and Export stuff and It's all in place, without to many
complications.
Don't think we the Average Man Woman will see a great difference to our life styles....be the odd shortage of the choice
we have in baked beans...just 8 choices instead of usual 13...be tough but we'll battle thru...

Yeah was very much in favour of leaving G....Big Believer in "Free Trade" being exactly what it says on the tin...FREE TRADE...
You Can't be tied or limited..
Don't reckon the EU has benefited anyone..the Richer Countries are just as Rich and the Poorer ones just as Poor,
But thats the way it Works...the wealthy need the not so wealthy...locally or worldwide at any level.

Think all Separate Countries Should have Control of their own Borders...Each has it's own requirements and needs.
Ours is different to Germanys...they have infrastructure space and capabilities for more...whereas our Cities are getting
very near to full up.
A one size fits all just doesn't work...T Shirts to Economics...

Just said in Mr Ns post...that hopefully all the stuff we've been thru last few years, will have helped in making an easier
transition, instead of doing it all after we had left.
So yeah me personally am pretty happy it's done and we can trade freely and have slightly more control of things.
But in saying that if I was an Expat might have a different view and angle on it...we have to do whats best for us
as individual families....so totally get the remain thing...anyones remain vote come to that...what don't like is
people refusing to accept it...
Wouldn't surprise me in the Slightest if Labour suggest putting a fresh referendum in their next Manifesto,do
anything for political gain if it might win a few votes.....already see their new slogan....A New Leadership.....

The press are describing it as the “least bad version of Brexit possible”. Which is good news if true.

It's difficult to see what the benefits will be beyond a 1950s idea of sovereignty. You can admire blue passports, white cliffs and spitfires but where does it get you, in todays world of 5g and artificial intelligence.

And there is the suspicion that having won the war and then been reduced to a pauper repaying the costs for 30 years; that the losers Germany and France have prospered and become richer. Which might be why there is always a resentment towards them and dislike for Europe.

And what is clear, increased bureaucracy usually creates it's own inefficiencies and these always increase your costs.

And when you compare Boris's deal with Mrs May's rejected deal, which one looks better structured.

No way in the world were the French and Germans,(the main players along with us) going to make it easy for us to leave...
This shit backwards and forwards stuff with Negotiations etc..was ALWAYS gonna happen ..have no idea why people
are so surprised...given the Press/Media bods shitloads of Overtime I Spose....

Our "Mates" wouldn't like to see it made easy...cos both know a Fair EU Referendum in their own countries would have a
similar result to us.....They need to deter their own public from gathering any momentum towards it.
Plus they are worried, cos the system the EU Operates...whereby Smaller countries are funded by the Wealthier counties,
instead of Helping and allowing them to grow their own Economies, will put added pressure on their own finances, cos
we won't be around chipping in Directly into the pot that gets shared around

We won't no way..not gonna happen...but we crash and burn so does Europe...they still need our trade...
Everyone keeps banging on 40% of our trade is with the EU...we can't afford to pay our way...they suffer hugely..
EU know that as well as anyone...we need a successful Europe...they need a successful UK ..thats the way it works..
Your'e gonna export stuff, you don't want everyone poor and struggling...you want them wealthy, and successful.
Thats why we need to completely Free Trade..everyone does, not just us,let each individual country do what they do
best and generate and run their own finances...you'll get more trade, not limited and controlled trade.as it is now.
