Yellow mealworm finger foods, smoothies, biscuits, pasta and burgers could soon be mass produced across Europe after the insect became the first to be found safe for human consumption by the EU food safety agency.
These maggot shaped worms, taste of peanuts and can be shared on your favourite water biscuits. Give them to kids as a special treat says ME Doctor Strange.

My 9 year old was offered all sorts of insects to eat at school a few months ago in a science lesson and rates the mealworms quite highly .
There are none in the fridge though .
My neighbours head takes up most of the space on the shelf .
You don't need to keep Spuds in the fridge mate....
