They are not going to spend 100 million every year lol. We have our ignition with Lanzini, Anderson, Yarmelenko and maybe Nasr
We need a decent non injury prone striker and midfield generals who can connect the link between defense and offense.
Wont get them all next season but in Pellegrini's 3rd year we should be very close.
Unless of course we sell Rice for a huge price.!!!!!!!
I'm not so sure, I have a sneaky suspicion that we well match lasts years spend with the majority of the money coming from the sales of surplus squad players, those out on loan and a few youngsters. As we progress with the quality buys our surplus players over the next few years value will be higher, and therefore enabling us to have a higher spend. We will loose players like Rice and Diop but at a premium price again giving us spending power to replace them with adequate replacements. Given all the usual candidates that we expect, or hope will be sold remember there are the likes of Fernandes who is wanted for about 8 million, Hugill, Byran Martinez, Oxford and even Cullen, these could bring in 15-20 million on top of the war chest given by the club. There's 50-60 million and has not effected the present squad Sell 4 squad players, maybe Arnie, Hernandez, Obiang and say Snodgrass, there's another 50 million + that puts the total up to 100 million quid. I think he will bring one dynamic youngster in to boss the midfield along with rice, we have others already in the squad to act as backups, certainly a couple of strikers will come in maybe one being the marque signing of the window and a n other. Remember we have young Silva who has been out injured waiting in the wings, one of Mr P's young gems for the future. I think Fredericks will be given his chance with Zabba as back up on the right side, on the left side he will bring someone in and probably use Cresswell as backup and maybe sell Arthur. We also have young Ben Johnson who can play in both these posistions and has shown against Man City that he is more than capable. So I think the money available in the next window will be enough to dramatically improve the squad from what we have now.
No need to worry about the window Irons...we will be ok.
