If I was investing (which I’m not , as you know that particular avenue of enjoyment is no longer an option) , I’d be looking more closely at Burrows saint and Blaklion .

Cloth Cap. Best horse and unfortunately, the race has been ruined by the fence changes. Now, just a top class handicap

Blacklion, how come?
Bit of a stab in the dark really .
It has a good record over the national fences , won the Becher there a few years ago and 5 of the last 10 winners have previously won a graded chase .
Though there’s no money down I still can’t help thinking like a gambler ... and Blaklion is a big big price but as mentioned above , the fences aren’t what they were and Cloth Cap is absolutely thrown in at the weights .

I went once.
A mate of mine had a spare space on his firm's outing. We sat on the grass by a fence and watched the horses jump it. Twice.
Red Rum won I'm told.
I can't remember any more because, you see.......I was very...very drunk.
I don't have much of a reservoir of knowledge of horse racing and I'm not inclined to favour wild conspiracy theories - However Red Rum is an anagram of
Murder spelled backwards...and you don't overlook a gift horse in the face do you...hence the expression "why the long face..."
