Re: Aston Villa vs West Ham Official Match Thread

We're on a good run, we're playing decent football, Anderson has shown some form, Haller is scoring... ..which means we'll lose. You should all know by now that West Ham is like the bird who gives you the nod and shows you a bit of thigh and just as you think you're in, she knees you in the nuts. I'...

Anthony Joshua, what a berk

I'm no boxing officianado, I'm just a sports fan who likes to watch the odd fight but Joshua has gone right down in my estimations after his comments on Lennox Lewis. The bloke is talking shite - it seems like he's still punch-drunk from his last defeat. Joshua seems to have a rather ill-founded hig...

Re: Feeling optimistic

Got to say that at the start of a new season I always hope for the best and usually get let down. This year I am feeling a warm glow of optimism and even though we could get a hiding on Saturday feel we have the right manager and a damn good attacking team (my optimism doesn’t run to the defense) a...

My slight, niggling, concern about Pellegrini

Going into his second season at the helm, I'm very pleased with his tenure so far. The signings of Fornals and Haller are top draw and exactly what we needed. We all know Pelle wants oodles of attacking players and that's how he's going to approach the season. But he doesn't seem that bothered about...

Re: West Ham refuse to meet Fans Groups.

Stuff talking to the board, they don't listen anyway. I don't feel that the likes of SW represent me on any level, other than we're both West Ham supporters.

Keep a close eye on what the board are doing and if they keep their word. If they don't, 'do a Burnley'. It's what they fear the most.

I shall be frequenting the canal barge on a pay as you go basis next season. Probably more sensible than a season ticket as I only make 4 or 5 games a season.
Not in those speedo's I hope......

Re: The Mogg is circling...

Jacob Rees-Mogg, the man who doesn't want to be Prime Minister (but secretly really, really, really does) bangs in a letter of no confidence to the 1922 committee - you know, just to start the old ball rolling. Quelle surprise! May looks to be ending in November this year. The country has gon...
