Re: How Quickly It Turns

What seems obvious to me is how we need to keep Pam and/or Yarma up closer with Haller so he's not so isolated. With Pelle's system as it stands we're utilizing Rice's dominance by pushing Noble up behind the front 3 as another 10, while also bombing our fbs forward and requiring our wingers to help...

Well let’s see, hopefully we won’t need Anderson & Haller by the half and instead can give Coventry & Cardoso a run out. COYI

Re: Oxford Utd vs West Ham Utd Official Match Thread

A potential banana skin. We don't want to go the same way has Spurs. One important thing that is happening at the club is the togetherness.Best thing we did was getting rid of the selfish Austrian prick.I know other posters may disagree, but getting Hernandez off the books may have helped too. That`...

Re: BBC report on Manuel Pellegrini...

While managerial contracts are rare to go to the final year (next season for Pelle), I think in this case in might suit both parties to negotiate a new deal next season unless the Chilean is willing to do so sooner. This allows him the freedom, at his age, to gauge his willingness when he’s a year o...

Re: Aston Villa vs West Ham Official Match Thread

I think people are overlooking Yarma's industry in the first time, won the ball several times that started our attacks. I've never seen him play that far back in the midfield and was impressed with his break-up play. Not what we signed him for but the bloke put in a shift. If the cunt ref is going t...

Re: Aston Villa vs West Ham Official Match Thread

Are our full backs improving? Do seem to be... Always been reluctant to forecast a win with that pair. And Oggy's liking for a grapple in the box. Oggy is hit and miss isn,t he Mike. Lets hope he has a hit tonight lol. I was impressed with Balbuena last year. No idea why him and Diop are not sharin...

Not ready to write off a 23 yr old as not all pros light up the league up that early, and 2 more years of playing league & international games could leave us with a very tidy 25 year old mf, somewhere you always need depth.

Re: Rice's Future -- From The Man Himself

If he didn't have ambitions to someday play his club football at the very top, I'd be worried. Precisely. We can but hope the club shows a similar ambition to join the so called elite so that players of his ability don't have to leave to achieve their dream. One can hope, but I’ve always maintained...

Re: Hernandez is leaving for 8 million and a free agent will be signed as a replacement

I think what he’s on about your HUGE leap of logic in that his on field performance is some signal of any kind of off-field toxicity. An opposite & equally likely supposition is that he’s always been a consummate pro & a good teammate ignoring the contempt he shows when play breaks down, his excess...
