Re: West Ham v Bournemouth - Official Match Thread

Tricky to predict the line up. Need 6 games really to judge, as the squad rotates in and out. Gut feel is Antonio is useless but he gets a free pass until we have completed the six games. Pretty confident we will be floating around 8th by feb and not too concerned with last weekends non performance...

Re: Liverpool review

No fan of JJ, but thought this was insightful - answers the Noble bashers a little, but then again he is the captain and he should be making sure this doesn't happen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkBYjnbYEoE Enjoyed that analysis, seemed we got double whammied in that we had poor communication b...

Re: Liverpool V West Ham match thread...

I watched the game on Sky. I can't see that Rice had a bad game? (Considering the Galacticos he was up against) He made a fair few interceptions and distributed the ball well.Didnt lose possession. The glaring problem that I saw was that none of the recipients of his passes managed to progress with...

Re: Has your view changed.?

Im going to put this out here now, but in no way am I hoping for this. However, should Pellegrini and this team struggle this season, not push on to the top 10 and not make any significant cup runs, I still want him to be here next season. The only way I see his time coming to an end prematurely is ...

Re: monday's news and gossip includes west ham 13.8.18.

Cheers Steve..... I thought Fabian Balbuena played OK ish for his first PL game.....but that's my opinion..... I did too and as Newmarket said , had the 2 offside goals not of stood it wouldn't of been too bad a score against them . We all know how the FA & their official's love to favour the t...

Re: Liverpool review

I agree that L'pool where the better team and thoroughly deserved the result. But the fackin offside rule does my head in. How can Firmino be judged as not part of the play when he's on the edge of the 6 yard box in front of Fabianski? I mean if he's not standing there, doesn't the goalkeeper take u...

Re: Denis Wise on Sky Sports News

Surprised he didn't mention how he'll "fit well into Big Sam's style of play". Well Andy will probably play his usual quarter of games/season so if Arnie and Chicha are either injured or suspended at the same time we might see how well they link up! or in the league cup or something Know-...

Re: Everton land Bernard

No huge loss, the guy is a mercenary who was prepared to go to China and just yesterday turned down Chelsea for Everton who were paying more. Agree not a huge loss, hopefully we land some depth in the DM area before the season starts, but it's certainly looking like we go into the season with Rice,...

Re: Transfer window thread

If the Perez deal gets done and presuming we don't lose any big names in the next 24 hours, one signing or loan in the DM area (Maia, Sturano or Drinkwater?) this will undoubtedly be the first time since the unbelievable (for good reason) coup of Tevez and Mascherano that I've been gobsmacked by our...
