I applaud the novelty factor of you using dots instead of stars to rate Pellegrini so far. I also agree wholeheartedly with your current rating. 4 out of 5 seems appropriate. Here's hoping for the high 5 in the near future.

Re: Does Rice play too safe?

He is a defensive midfielder, the main focus of his role is to 'play it safe'. Occasionally he may play an excellent forward pass or make a good run, but his reason for being there is to keep things safe. Hasn't he done well! Thank you for an easy (if boring) question, could the next one be a tad mo...

Re: Fabianski - Starting to make mistakes, whose fault?

Fair comment towie but surely Hugo Lloris is the best in the league? (hey it's a numbers thread, let's keep him sweet not salty) My apologies, yes indeed Lloris is the best French keeper in league. As he has posted since your reply, it can be assumed that he couldn't think of any other blatant erro...

Re: Fabianski - Starting to make mistakes, whose fault?

I can only think of one mistake he has made that led to a goal, and that was the first vs Brighton. Happy to be corrected. Can think of countless errors the manc keeper has made this season and he is meant to be best in league. Fair comment towie but surely Hugo Lloris is the best in the league? (h...

Re: Fabianski - Starting to make mistakes, whose fault?

Fabianski - Starting to make mistakes, whose fault? Is this the best you could muster? Unfortunately you shot yourself in the foot with the title of the thread. If indeed Fabianski is making mistakes then he is at fault, simple. You can blame defensive errors for leading up to the situations in whi...

Re: Ideal starting 11 with Nasri 100% fit.??

With Nasri and Anderson operating on the left you wouldn't need the extra attacking impetus that Masuaku gives so I would prefer Cresswell as he is the more solid defender. Otherwise that line up looks very strong.

There would be some lovely moves between Nasri, Anderson and Arnie.

Re: Will Diop develop into a good player? or will he not learn?

I have to admit numbers I am genuinely disappointed in you today. Admittedly Diop made a couple of errors against Burnley but it was blindingly obvious that the major errors and positional cock ups were down to Ogbonna. If only you had started this thread about Ogbonna and actually been relevant for...

Re: Let's have a serious, grown up conversation about Anderson

He plays mostly left wing, in recent times probably the best left winger has been Giggs. His best ever total of league goals was 13 in a FULL season. I would be very surprised if Anderson does not surpass that easily. Now I am not comparing the two, Giggs was a much better player and no doubt contri...
