Blimey I'd forgotten about that as well.
All deductive logic points to an upset on Saturday.
Now watch us go and totally fuck it in true West Ham style

Manchester Divided

Red Mancs seem all over the place at the moment.
Mourinho seems at war with just about everyone.

Good or bad for us?
Will we circle like a vulture and pick chunks out of them at the weekend?
Or will they spring like a wounded animal?

Re: Pay him ffs!

Ironically their dithering and time-wasting, derisory offers may now cost them a lot more. Pellegrini himself is clearly starting to believe in Rice big-time. Rice's agent is no idiot and will milk the situation for every penny (or as Whisky said, advise him to go elsewhere when his contract is up)....

Re: Noble

Every time the obituary is written, Noble tears it up. I myself have said he should be bit part at best and maybe that's where it's heading as he and his legs get older. But yesterday his passion and leadership were priceless and the fans clearly acknowledged this with the standing ovation. He won't...

Re: West Ham United v Chelsea - Official Match Thread

Apparently he was seen going apoplectic in the stands when Yarma missed that chance :D Clearly he was thinking "FFS I would've buried that"!! For me that's great to see a player react in that way. He clearly gives-a-shit which, although players should by default, there are many that do no...

Re: West Ham United v Chelsea - Official Match Thread

More organised, much more effort. Quite defensive...Antonio often very isolated up front...but tried hard...yarma and Anderson both tried to carry the ball up the pitch whenever they could... A performance Moyes would have been proud of? I doubt it. Nowhere near enough "hit n hope" balls ...

Re: Pitchside Stewards

I'd rather tax money spent on a cattle prod to shift that fat prick who refused to move for Antonio's corner yesterday. Regarding the hi-vis madness, I was talking to Mike about this yesterday and it just looks completely dreadful from a visual perspective. Looking across the stadium it's like drivi...

Re: West Ham United v Chelsea - Official Match Thread

I didn't quite see it as parking the bus myself. With their superior personnel all over the park and our lack of striking options they were always going to dominate possession, although there were periods where I'd like to have seen us press them a little more I must admit. But we carried a lot of ...

Re: West Ham United v Chelsea - Official Match Thread

So to sum up, backs to the wall, park the bus, play a 4-5-1 and hope for a breakaway, the old ways still work for MP. No complaints, probably the only way to get something from these type of games. We had our chances as well. Can we expect the same against Man U and Spurs? I didn't quite see it as ...

Re: West Ham United v Chelsea - Official Match Thread

Fuck me, just noticed West Ham were 17-4 @ SkyBet for yesterday's game.
That's big odds for a team at home considering the Plastics played away on Thursday.
