Re: World class players...?

World class is a tough one because I think consistency plays a part in that. However when they are on their best form I do think that Anderson, Lanzini and Wilshere can play like top class players. As sated above our goalkeeper appears comparable with the best based on last seasons evidence and I b...

World class players...?

So our baroness promised us a world class stadium and world class players - are we finally getting the latter? Bearing in mind we have no European football, have not won a trophy in 40 years and are a mid table club with a song about losing, with the signing of the Haller, Fornals, Anderson, Yarmo, ...

Re: Frank Lampard as Chelsea manager

I have no hate towards Frank. He didn't leave to go to China, he became a star and won trophies. I can't begrudge him that. He could well have a good start, but most of that lot there have no affinity with him as a player. Now Hazard is gone, most of them are decidedly average apart from Kante & Ru...

Re: Arnie leaves for 22.4 Million

He saved us last season. I will be forever grateful for that. I genuinely loved the bloke, did not feel that way about a player since Di Canio. What a terrible way to end that relationship, as he was voted HOTY, I guess many others must have felt similar. There is no excuse to act as he and his brot...

Re: Arnie transfer request!

we pay Chico half a mill a month to do...not a lot.. Yeah, but when he came in he had a goal scoring pedigree with the elite clubs in three divisions and is Mexico's top scorer. Probably earned quite a bit from Mexican shirt sales too. Arnie never had any such pedigree and we don't seem to have a b...

Re: Rooney as a manager....

I can't help but think of Darren Farley's comedy act where Rooney is one of his main characters, and now always plays him in a football helmet since his head injury. Too funny and colours my view of him being a manager too much.

Re: The Spanish waiter.

I would have taken him over Moyes any day. But I am actually happy to have Pellegrini instead.

One good thing, at least if he goes that is one less team sniffing around the top 10 spots we want.

Can't see it happening, but he is what Old Trafford need round about right now.

Re: What Car Do We All Drive

I have a 2006 Ford F150 XTR 4x4 crew cab. But during the day I spend most of my time in a 2002 Chevy Astro now, amazing how a 4.3 V6 crawls up a hill like a slug on the sauce. My friends first comment when she saw it - oh, you got a rapist van! kickimmuts kickimmuts shame because I have become very ...

Re: Have the owners moved the club forward?

So many metrics. Yes compared to other "big clubs" like Leeds, Villa, Sunderland etc. As others have said, Pellegrini and importantly Husillos are finally many steps in the right direction. We have two borderline world class players in Rice & Anderson, one of the best CB pairings in the league (thou...
