Re: The end of Football as we know it.

Someone will fuck up the code but I do like the idea. Gotta be better than what I witnessed yesterday It will get better. For me I’m for it. I was close to giving up on football before VAR so whether it succeeds or not makes fuck all difference to me. Still controlled by humans though which leaves ...

Re: The end of Football as we know it.

I agree,it's the process as you describe. What I mean't was, using the software to model in 360 degree and therefore becoming an undisputed regulatory authority. So I'm suggesting removing the human interpretation factors and replacing them with software that is measuring every image pixel from it's...

Re: Are Man City ruining our game?

It’s not their fault so no, they’re not ruining the game. Maybe there needs to be a cap on transfer fees and wages to help everyone compete on an even level but Liverpool pushes them all the way last season so it’s not 1 team dominance

Re: The end of Football as we know it.

Morning, As much as I despised Blatter he resisted bring in VAR saying it was taking the human error element out of the game, I agree with that despite thinking the officials need help, but yesterday goals was awarded and cancelled out because an arm was offside, how in gods name is that gaining an...

Re: Offside rule

Talking about Jesus. As far as I'm concerned, he was 2 yards offside, then put the ball in the net. The commentary I listened to was in Arabic but I assumed VAR called it because of Jesus . Having been 2 or 3 yards offside how was he not interfering with play yet Sterling was ? They showed it on th...

Re: West Ham vs Man City Official Match Thread

Harsh blaming Antonio for not getting back for that first goal. He was left for dead by Walkers electric burst, He also, I'm guessing' had a brief to stay the furthest forward of all the midfielders to link with Haller (My new crush !) "Take them on" or "Park the bus" Pelle has tried to compromise ...

Re: West Ham vs Man City Official Match Thread

Well what a lovely opening day  Fuck me, they’re good. 1st half I thought we looked good, especially Wilshere, Haller and Lanzini. Personally thought Antonio not too supportive of cresswell and slow to support for their 1st goal. Cresswell was slow but had 2 running at him - no chance stopping...

Re: Geordies

They are after Steve Bruce as manager. looks like my relegation prediction is looking solid. "After him" makes it sound as if Newcastle are actively pursuing the bloke. I'd suggest Bruce would walk to St James' Park to take up the position. And I do agree it makes relegation even more likely. I rea...
