Re: Witchipoo’s latest column

Sky Sports.....   I don't see why people get so obsessed with Net Spend. I'd rather look at the players coming in and how they fit in. Some of the best players over the years have been on the cheaper side and some flops have been expensive. I'm sure Norwich's supporters weren't obse...

Re: Łukasz Fabiański

I liked Adrian and was pissed off when we signed the waste of resources that is Joe Hart. But Fabianski is an upgrade on Adrian and we got him on the cheap.

One think puzzles me though. How can we all get his fucking name right and fuck up the simple ones like Wilshere and Tomkins ?

Re: Aston Villa vs West Ham Official Match Thread

True. But the "final decisive pass" also involves someone being in position to take advantage of it. Villa had obviously identified Haller as the main threat and he was closely marked and we had no one pushing up sufficiently to give him support and options. I'm putting it down to a game a bit like...

Re: Aston Villa vs West Ham Official Match Thread

Don't think that would have made much difference tbh. Problem wasn't the personnel but the fact the midfield didn't lend any support to Haller. Whether that was a tactical instruction or not , fuck knows, but it certainly made for a pretty sterile match. Anderson & Lanzini are potential match winne...

Re: Aston Villa vs West Ham Official Match Thread

manager got it wrong again with subs, Wilshire should have come on at half time. no flair no imagination, bored fucking shitless if im honest, our keeper and their shit striker (thank fuck) won us a point. Agree, Wilshire should have been introduced. Don't think that would have made much difference...

Whilshire with Noble and Rice for me. Yarma benched. Cress in for Arthur. Lanzini farther forward in front of them 3 as a no.10
Why has WHILSHIRE become the new TOMPKINS ? ;)

Re: West Ham vs Manchester Utd Official Match Thread

They won't be at all fatigued. They have a home match against the mighty Astana of Kazakhstan and I can see them fielding basically a second string in that match. Of course we are capable of beating them, as we did last season. But let's face it, we'll have to play a lot better than we did on Monday...

Re: Another Stupid VAR Rule

I dont think Nobles was a dive. I believe he was thinking about diving and was losing his balance when he changed his mind and immediately got up and ran back. You dont dive and get up with no fuss and run back to defend. You try and con the ref with waving arms etc etc. Probably suddenly hit him h...

Another Stupid VAR Rule

Anyone else think it's stupid that a second yellow, leading to a red, can't be reviewed ? People who go to matches expect to see 11 v 11 and imo they are cheated when pricks like Mike Dean make decisions like the one he made last night. Apparently he could have reviewed the Noble dive which, had he ...

Re: Aston Villa vs West Ham Official Match Thread

Hindsight is wonderful: but who wishes Yarmolenko was on loan at West Brom rather than Diangana ? Not me for one. Imo Diangana will benefit massively from a season in the championship and will hopefully leave the boy behind and come back a man, ready for the premier league. Agree that Yarmolenko wa...
