Re: Allardyce.

I must admit I get wound up by the rather pompours assertations some people make about why they support West Ham almost as if it's a sort of badge of honour they chose an "unfashionable" club rather than a more successful outfit. Oh, I started supporting them because they played such lovel...

Well,I`d defiantly prefer to watch Bournemouth than our crap football.

Bournemouth or Burnley ? Who would you choose ?

Given the choice I'd probably go and play a round of golf. ;)

Re: West Ham Way--Fact Or Fiction ?

Again.....the cup thing was a different era and with a much more even playing field (metaphorically of course). Spurs were known as a cup side in those days also.....they also suffer from the same misty eyed view that nothing has changed. Cant speak about Greenwood being booed but I remember Lyall ...

Re: West Ham Way--Fact Or Fiction ?

Winnings not important so lets not bother with goals lets just have judges standing around giving points for nice little moves and stuff like ice skating. fucks sake get real. He didn't say that though did he?! We all know winning is important, we have seen just how far some will go to achieve it a...

Re: Allardyce.

Imagine being an Everton fan.You see one shot on target on average at Goodison every game. Then you go to the other side of town and you see them averaging 20 :) It must be bloody difficult. :( But there are some , as recent threads show Terry , that would prefer it as long as that one shot earns t...

Re: Why Howe..?

Don't think Howe is destined to move on imo. He's in his comfort zone methinks and, although I don't like him either, who can blame him. Dare one ask why Kevin Nolan ? I do hope we've gone away from appointing old boys tbh. Whisky  And I thought you were an educated man. Because he'd be cheap...

Re: Let's Have A Vote !!

Would cost the club more in 1-0 wins and take a Europa league than a relegation scrap. We would need 3 defenders and 2 GOOD holding midfielders. And since their answer to our Mid problems was to buy Hugil when we have 2 strikers sat on the bench, i seruiously doubt we will get any decent Mid players...

Re: Why Howe..?

Eddie Howe would indeed be mad to come to West Ham. Pencils up the nostrils, pants on his head and saying 'wibble' mad. Destined for bigger things eventually although I don't like the bloke. Kevin Nolan looks a shout. Don't think Howe is destined to move on imo. He's in his comfort zone methinks an...

Re: West Ham Way--Fact Or Fiction ?

I guess you're a similar era to me Terry, maybe a bit younger but having a vision on how the game should be played and actually playing it, on a regular basis, are two different things. I don't know if you agree with me that the class of 85/86 was the best team we've seen but, even if you don't, I'...
