The Torygraph now accusing May of treason. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/2018/07/11/theresa-may-guilty-treason-plenty-readers-think-politicians/amp/ If only we'd known that not fulfilling manifesto pledges, or adhering to Boris Johnson's post non-binding referendum inte...

Re: Anti Trump marches.

Marches do fuck all in my opinion. From Anti Iraq war to FLA to Trump. That's not to say anyone should be bollocksed off for showing their support or dislike for or of something. It's just a bit rich that a member of this government, which has done fuck all but embarrass itself since day one, should...

The dead wood.

There seems to be a hell of a lot of wages tied up in players I see as surplus to requirements. Snodgrass is on a reported £70k. AC anything between £85k and £100k. Reid's on £60k. Kouyate £50k or 60k. Even Hugill and Byram must be on £50k between them. Between huge wages, crap form and injury that'...

Re: How excited are you for the coming season?

Easy to get carried away, but I'm not expecting miracles early doors. In fact with so many new faces we might be a bit shit to kick off with.
You'd expect a class act like Pellegrini to have us humming nicely by December though. So it's cautious optimism all the way. COYI.

Re: What would be your line up with all players fit?

Adrian in goal. Stick with what you know. Zabaleta at right-back. Solid. Diop at CB. You don't pay £23m and not start him. Ogbonna at CB. Did enough last season to keep his spot. Masuaku at left-back. Coin toss between him and Cresswell. Rice at DM. Playing 4 at the back requires a player who can ta...

Re: Transfer window thread

It still appears we are after at least one more CB , and the favourites at the moment are Lascelles ( no chance ) , Dawson ( dont rate him myself ) Marcelo ( 31 come on ) and Mina . Lascelles - £25m bid turned down , not surprising . Dawson - they want to much for him . Marcelo - £18m bid turned do...

Re: Transfer window thread

Still being linked with CBs. With Balbuena signed and Anderson all but in the bag, it appears we still have £20m+ for a quality defender -- Lascelles, and now Marcelo. Pretty much confirms Rice will be deployed in midfield, imo. I can see the Bernard link having some legs too. Assuming we play 4222...
