Re: Liverpool vs West Ham Official Match Thread

I imagine Salah is licking his lips at the thought of being up against Cresswell out on Liverpool's right hand side. I can only see a comfortable 3-0 home win but it isn't games against the Liverpools of this world that will decide whether we stay up or not. Not sure I agree with you there Whisky. ...

Re: Liverpool vs West Ham Official Match Thread

"Defend deep and then counter with pace " i am genuinely amused Why amused? :? That is what we're best at. We rarely have more possession than the opposition, i think even when we battered Stoke and Huddersfield away from home, they had 60% of the ball. Play a high line and press and they...

Re: Liverpool vs West Ham Official Match Thread

Think we can cause them some problems. They are still shaky at the back and if Arnie is on it then we could do alright. Adrian, Zabaleta, Reid, Collins, Ogbonna, Cresswell Noble, Kouyate Mario Arnie, Hernandez Would be my team. I think we need a proper left back in that position to go up against Sa...

Re: What is our next level?

Noble's symptomatic of how our midfield works these days. It's neither attacking -- the creativity, what there is of it, is either higher up the pitch or on the flanks. Noble has no assists, Kouyate has one, Obiang, Fernandes, Rice all zero -- nor is it a defensive wall. Obiang and Noble out tackle...

Re: What is our next level?

If you mean “we can solve all our problems by getting rid of Mark Noble” then why don’t you just politely suggest it ? I mean , it may be quite revolutionary :i am genuinely amused: So far , Mark Noble has been a key factor to our success this season.. Unfortunately that's the problem a deluded min...

Re: What is our next level?

This is our level or maybe lower until someone comes in and stops running the club with blinkered sentimentality. Other clubs get rid of their deadwood and how long they have been at the club is not a factor. The same old threads will be on this forum this time next year unless someone has the coura...

Re: Hammer of the Year - Early contenders

Obiang. Closely followed by Noble. Then Hart. It could all change before the end of the season though. Has to be Noble !! Only one born anywhere near the ground and is "one of us" . Don't worry about the fact he's too slow to catch a cold and a liability. When Arnie ,Lanzini or whoever wi...

Yeh course he has !! Zaza has scored 16 in 39 La Liga matches which is a top league and Hugill has managed 23 in 100 matches in a league about 3 or 4 levels inferior !! i am genuinely amused

Re: Hugill

Doubt if he actually touched the ball more than once. Totally ineffective. Made no runs, no passes, no interceptions, no tackles, in fact no impact whatsoever. Mind you the fact he didn't come on until 2 minutes from the end may have had some bearing on those statistics. :i am genuinely amused: And...

Re: I’m surprised some people don’t like me as I have a good heart",

Stats mean fuck all to people who actually watch the game. Dowie and Carlton Cole. Both not exactly blessed in the stats department but would run through a fucking wall for the team Work hard and you will be appreciated - simple concept. If you have some talent to go with it then you will be stuck ...
