Re: With Arnie and Lanzini back what team and formation would you pick?

The benefits of having both Hernandez and Carroll is that we can set up differently for different teams but if I had to pick a base 11

Hart
Fonte Reid Ogbonna
Zabaleta Lanzini Obiang Cresswell
Antonio Hernandez Arnautovic

Re: How Wrong Was I

Playing 3 at the back definitely helped them both as they has cover. Although it seems logical that playing as a WB would be detrimental to Zab, he was always an attacking FB with great forward movement so it seems to have helped.

Talking about being wrong, I said to you I felt we'd lose 2-0...

Re: Sakho Saga

The board were bemoaning that Allardyce's signings never had resale value yet when they have a chance to somehow turn a profit our most unreliable player who we don't even need and they say no. We either sell him now or let him go for free when his contract runs out because he ain't signing a new one.

Re: Bilic isn't the problem

Dont take this the wrong way mate but a couple of things Firstly, the comment its not Bilic's fault is laughable and utter rubbish. I was at Newcastle and tactically he has no idea. The team selection was wrong for a start and the formation is wrong. The team are not fit and that is also the manage...

Re: Bilic isn't the problem

I appreciate that the manager is the most obvious place to lay the blame but our problems lie a hell of a lot deeper than Bilic. He was hired specifically because he was willing to allow DS to largely have control over transfers. Would a big name manager be willing to do the same? That made sense d...

Re: Bilic isn't the problem

Yes, it must be difficult earning 60 thousand a week. when you step onto that pitch that 60 grand or 300 grand doesn't come into it. You are playing for pride and playing for the team and you give everything you have. If that isn't the case then you go~!~! If Mourinhio was in charge would Arnie hav...

Re: Bilic isn't the problem

It's hard to disagree with the OP when most of what he said is how things ought to be. How ever I don't agree that you can't put any of this down to the manager. You hear so many stories and there is so much speculation as to who bought whom and what goes on. Some we know for fact and some we can o...
