Re: Phillipy Anderson

I still think that people underestimate how hard it is to play in the English PL. It is very different.

Some people find it easy but others struggle and need a lot more time. Anderson was one of those who is now coming good.

Re: bojo

Well, true to form the government loses another vote in the commons. Johnson, entirely disingenuously, suggesting this will wreck negotiations with the EU, negotiations that the EU have confirmed aren't actually happening. It's also been shown today that government plans to suspend parliament were ...

Re: Hernandez is leaving for 8 million and a free agent will be signed as a replacement

Apologies if I sounded a bit brash , you just seemed very very sure of any toxic atmosphere/disruptive influence within the squad . And frankly I don’t believe that but hey ho :D My belief is that financially it was a great deal for the club/gruesome twosome and we’ll never see any of it Especially...

Some interesting names there. No wonder Xande Silva goes by that monicker and who would have thought that Haller's middle name was Teddy ? West Ham United Ajeti, Albian Antonio, Michail Gregory Balbuena Gonzalez, Fabian Cornelio Cresswell, Aaron Diop, Issa Laye Lucas Jean Fabianski, Lukasz Fornals M...

Re: Haller.

The media are creaming themselves about Leicester in particular, but also Everton and winless Wolves potentially gatecrashing the top 4 or 6 but I think a fully fit (and there’s the potential problem) squad compares favourably with any of those clubs In fact, apart from maybe the back four, I think...

Re: bojo

In which case we hope that Boris finds enough in the Lords to `Filibuster' any bill that the commons ratifies to force a stop to Brexit. The so called rebels do not want to stop Brexit. They want to stop, as anyone with an ounce of economic nous would want to, the stupidity of a no deal Brexit. Big...

Re: bojo

Well it's not cut and dried that there'll be an election now. The rebels will almost certainly win the vote tonight which would pave the way for one but Corbyn has hinted he may not support it, and it needs a two thirds majority, unless it's guaranteed to be before Oct 31st. What a fucking mess. In...

Re: bojo

The proroguing of parliament actually only means an extra 10 days off as they always break at this time and they have had the longest sitting ever I believe. 2016 - 15th Sept to 10th Oct 2017 - 14th Sept to 9th Oct 2018 - 13th Sept to 9th Oct 2019 - 9th Sept to 14th Oct However, everyone is outraged...
