Re: Should we sell Hernandez?

2 up front just leaves too much space in midfield. We would get ripped apart I'm afraid. The thing is, if we did play two up top it would cause the sides we're playing to have to alter their setup to deal with the threat as well, wouldn't it? Would the opposition be happy enough to set out their def...

Re: Should we sell Hernandez?

It's a shame that the two up top thing seems as unfashionable as easyfit jeans these days, because I'd love to see an extended run of both Hernandez and Haller up top in a traditional "big man/little man" combo. I bet they'd score a fuckload of goals.

Re: The Mogg is circling...

For me what the country wants is some strong sensible leadership. Labour doesn't need to be centre right. I think someone pre Blair, like John Smith, would clean up right now. The problem we all have is that the lunatic wings of both mainstream parties have a death grip on leadership. Centre right ...

Re: The Mogg is circling...

Corbyn might be a cult figure among the Labour rank and file, but it's abundantly clear that he's close to unelectable for the public at large. He's indecisive in policy, seems oblivious to the bad press this 'antisemitism scandal' is causing, and is utterly selfish about his party's best interests...

Re: The Mogg is circling...

How can Labour continue to let Corbyn destroy any semblance of a viable opposition? Surely to dog the fact Labour lag behind this utter shambles of a government in the polls is a clarion call for change? What would you have Labour do? I assumed Corbyn's politics were a good example of the type of l...

Re: Pre-season: Asia Trophy

Anyone who takes these games even semi-seriously should probably go and have a lie-down for a bit. It's pre-season, it means fuck all. What the fans should take away from games like these is absolutely nothing for the most part. The manager will be trying out different things, looking at different p...

Re: The top six

In all honesty, who gives a fuck about the top six? Unless we're in it I certainly don't. I'm more concerned with us, and while I may take a passing interest in the title race, it really isn't something I'm concerned with. I'm also not on board with this idea that the top six should bugger off elsew...

Re: Next Seasons Kit

I'm at that age where a polo shirt does me just fine, especially with the aforementioned tight fitting shenanigans that we've seen lately.

I'll leave the replica shirts for the kids.

Re: A change of the times

It reminds me of Pizza Express making all of their chicken & beef Halal to make it more acceptable to those of the Islamic faith. Yeah, but the reason behind the move was because they knew they were missing out on a hell of a lot of custom and money from that demographic. If a vast chunk of their p...
