Re: To all our Away Support.

Steve Whitton was the most unfit player we ever bought....and used to make a joke of it.

Lived in Gidea Park next to a mate of mine at the time, used to need a lay down after putting the milk bottles out 😁

The days when players used to live in normal 3 bed houses and earnt under a grand a week.

Re: To all our Away Support.

John Lyall took awful stick for a couple of seasons...although paying good money for Sandy Clark and Steve Whitton is pretty inexcusable.

I remember Bonzo getting some howls in the early 80s.

Funny how Coffee is so loved now and for a good while he was public enemy no1.

Re: To all our Away Support.

I've heard most players get the bird from our fans...even Sir Trev at Notts County once in the early 80s. I'm not one to mug off our own players....and I have come to blows about it before, but these days I cannot be asked with all that malarkey anymore. The West Ham family gets more diluted game by...

Re: Ticketing survey

Cheers for the reply mate....as you know I have tried to keep people's heads level when it comes to your good friend but I can see in this situation how it looks iffy. One thing I will advise you on...to hold an away season ticket you do indeed need to have one for home games too. Please make sure e...

Re: Bournemouth vs West Ham Official Match Thread

Enjoyed the game and thought some of our football was sublime at times. Bournemouth are the sort of team we struggle against...remind me very much of the Watford of the 80s. Do a lot of work down the channels knowing where players would be without the need to look. Happy with the point....not happy ...

Re: Ticketing survey

It was defo the talk of the terraces yesterday. I do not know this fella Sean personally and haven't heard much good about the chap BUT I do have one question....anybody who was lucky enough to win the ballot for Spurs and Brighton is an extremely lucky. man. I know the bloke is a mate of Nigel who ...

Re: Aston Villa vs West Ham Official Match Thread

Disagree with people asking for Wilshere, we were moving the ball far too slowly in the first half anyway.

We need to work on quick passes through midfield and defo need some more energy in there too.

Re: Aston Villa vs West Ham Official Match Thread

Neither team did enough to win the game. We didn't test their weak points which were their full backs, which was frustrating. I'd have personally bought on Snodders instead of Fornals to improve the set pieces which could have been huge in a tight game of few chances. Officials were very poor, not u...
