Re: Loic Remy

It was always on the cards. Even with a loan option for Zaza Gold and Sullivan were never going to part with circa £20m next summer. They have spent that £20m already and there isn't much of a back up plan. Bony would easily be my first option yet his salary of £150k a week again makes his move not ...

Re: A couple of idiots

There was more fighting outside the stadium yet fairly well controlled by Stewards who were on hand in numbers. Walking past with my ten year old and 72 year old dad though wasn't the greatest experience, and there were plenty of children around who looked petrified! There was a minimal police prese...

Re: Champions Place stones......

Totally agree I paid for two stones in phase one which are located in the John Lyall area. The wording is fading already and clearly won't stand up to much wear and tear. They could have had some form of sealant to protect them. Very disappointed and took photos at the Bournemouth game whilst I can ...

Re: sitting down..???

Seats were created post Hillsborough to create a safe environment for fans at football grounds. At Upton Park there are clearly areas that fans stood. I stood for many years in the Bobby Moore lower, and before that stood in the South Bank and North Bank. I eventually made the decision to move to th...

Re: Andy Carroll ffs

If everyone recalls last season we reverted back to training at Chadwell Heath as we picked up injuries training at Rush Green! I wonder if this is the issue or playing 3 games a week is? I did make a passing comment about Carroll the other day, and lo and behold be will be out for six weeks!

Re: Benteke

The only issue with Ayew is that he's injured. Benteke has been awful for Liverpool and barring one good season for Aston Villa hasn't really proven himself. He warned the bench for Belgium in the Euros. On paper Ayew is a better option, he has played with Payet when at Marseille and scored a respec...

Re: Bring Back Allardyce

Steady on!!! I think given we had such a good season for our grand finale at the Boleyn, with the move to the Olympic stadium expectations are high. We have been active in the transfer market, yet it could be argued that after all the hype from David Sullivan regarding a marquee 20 goal striker, tha...

More injuries

Just heard that Kouyate was injured in training and will be out for 7-14 days. Payet had a small knock yet likely to play on Sunday. Feghouli, Henry both injured, Sakho not match fit and issues with his back?, Ayew out for 4 months. Lanzini on the mend yet will still not be available until early Sep...
