Season ticket payments

Post by eastcoastclaret » Wed Mar 25, 2020 10:10 pm

Is this insensitive given what is going on currently with Coronavirus and the lockdown? I understand clubs have to do something to generate revenue but with so many people having lost their jobs, still have jobs but have been furloughed or just plain fucked like small business owners, sole traders. Is Mike Ashley just the first of many..

If people are dumb enough to pay for next season's tickets without knowing if there is even going to be a next season (I have to say that to keep the doom mongers happy ;) ) then tbh Ashley would be a bit of a mug if he didn't part them from their cash.

The bloke (or woman) who said the customer is king many years ago was right.

Pleased to say all the other Premier League clubs I am aware of have put renewals on hold and announced accordingly. No news from West Ham yet.

I read that one or 2 clubs are giving a discount on the rest of this season's missed games.
I'm sure the 2 Daves will do the right thing.

Very few would commit as no one knows which division we’ll be in as and when next season commences.
If they slapped a deadline down tomorrow then from my own position they can go fuck themselves.

Never ceases to amaze me how people claim they are being ripped off but seem to be quite happy to give their hard earned to those they say are ripping them off.

Doesn't make sense to me.

Get lower League clubs asking their fans,to buy next years if they can afford to,not PL Clubs...
Shows how F.in Badly run they are if they're gonna go bust over 8 games of bloody football...
All renewals should be on hold till we know where we are with this shit.

Evidently Ashley sent out E-mails to all his Store managers...of Price increases across a whole
shit load of stuff..the night before he thought he would be allowed to keep his stores open..
Big increases as well...
I get running a business and making as much as you can from it...but that sucks....

It's a bottom end store...for the lower paid working guys and girls.....don't take the piss...
