Think he might regret it

assuming hes a good boy in chokey he'll be released on licence half way ....so 7weeks

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troy_Deeney theres other , hes not the only one
he didnt lose his job..kicked a bloke on the ground in the head ...footballers often seem to get treated differently to Jo Shmo by their employers....and the usual "we'll stand by him" from the club, unless hes a paedo...assault seems fine though....gotta love the hypocrisy of it all...

Shame the authorities didn't make an proper example of him, no meaningful deterrent is why the country is in such a mess.

The bloke's a fucking twat and deserves all he got but I can't help thinking the country's gone way ott about it.

Richard Littlejohn's piece in the Mail today sums it up.

Thing is with this,it's not a bloke running across a pitch to get attention,it's not some guy
making a what he feels is a justified protest at a match......which is trespassing, this is assault,
bordering abh as an innocent Grealish was deliberately targeted, not a random thing..
His defence were lucky, they made it potentially worse,by saying, his only intention was to run on
the pitch and stir the fans up,and got carried away....

Stirring the fans up using violence....could be deemed as inciting a riot...5 years..
Wants to be thankful he'll be out in 7 weeks or so..

I don't buy into the hyperbole suggesting 'what if he was stabbed'. You can literally say that about any assault.
Fact is these remain isolated incidents carried out by fucking idiots. Anyone watching that and being 'inspired' to stab a player would have to be factually insane.

Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.

Be quite funny if he was banged up with a Villa fan.

Just an example that this stuff is nothing new.
