Realistic Transfer Targets

Post by Gonzo » Sun May 19, 2019 6:44 pm

I want to do a video featuring a few players but not the obvious links that are doing the rounds ie Marega etc.

I know we have a few with a continental knowledge on here so I'm looking for about 10 players realistically available for up to £30m.

I'm adamant Pellegrini will want an energetic or box to box midfielder, a left back and striker or two.

So any suggestions would be much appreciated. I have Haller, Poulsen, Cyprien & Sanson thus far and would ideally like 10 players that I can feature please.

Looking at last season there were no leaks about Diop & Balbuenea coming in but Anderson was common knowledge largely due to Lazio gobbing off. With that in mind I would expect some targets that have not been mentioned and wonder if all the current links are diversions.

Hi Gonzo

Here’s four names for your list!!

Alex Claude- Maurice at Lorient and we have been linked to him yet ARSENAL are now circling!!! Scored 14 goals in League 2 last season
At 20 years old he has a lot of promise and ticks the box for signing a younger player!!

As a back up striker we could consider Alan Carvahlo, better known as Alan. He is 29 and has spent the last few years playing in China so Pellegrini will be aware of him. He made his name in Austria playing for Red Bull Saltzburg, scoring 59 goals in 88 games and was previous linked to West Ham nearly four years ago!

Closer to home!!

Bradley Dack at Blackburn Rovers - though they want £18m!!?!?

Lastly, Danny Wellbeck who is available on a free front Arsenal yet lets be honest he is very injury prone so hopefully we swerve that one!!

I'd like to see us move in for Isaac Hayden.

Cheers Matt, hope you're well. If I stick Wellbeck on a video of suggested transfer targets I'll get even more hate mail

Haller will be well over £30m so can scrub him off if that’s the ceiling price. But if ignoring the price the Havertz is another that will be at a top club soon.

Alexander Isak will be the next one to blow up in terms of reputation I think.

Dream signing would be Ziyech, thanks to his release clause of £25m

Moise kean . Juventus .
Has been the victim of vicious racial hatred at Juve and can’t get out of there quick enough.
£30m should do it.

Can’t see him being that cheap but agree he needs to get out, badly let down by Bonucci, but with a new manager (Ancelotti?) en route I would be surprised if he was allowed to leave.

Milan’s Cutrone is perhaps more feasible with Piatek there but again, unsure on £30m, same with Suso.

Wonderful player. I'm surprised Man U aren't after him rather than James & Sessegnon

You have to look at Bruno Guimarães, a midfield player for Athletico Paranaense in the PL here in Brasil. This is where I would spend the big money on this season. He will cost 30million+ but is the dogs bollocks.
Gamble on strikers from France, both big men who know how to score and would be in our price range, probably get both for what we paid for Hugil.
Habib Diallo from Metz or Florian Aye from Claremont
Mr P already has his choice already at the club, Silva, who I will expect to be involved a lot more with the first team next season.
As a left back....Angeliño.....From PSV....probably under 20 million

60-70 million spend

Buying upgrades on a shoestring.....
