We'll be second bottom at 3pm on the opening Saturday.

Bilic out.

Decent 4 opening fixture. We get one of City,s games out the way early. Then we play Brighton away, Watford away and then Norwich at home. I,d say that was a decent opening 4 games?

Just seen good old 'exwhuemployee' released it 10 mins before 9 just so he can say 'i told you so' - what a proper weird thing to do.

Anyway onto the fixtures.. Can't just be a coincidence that our first game of every season for the last 6 years has been the top 6?! Also so shocked our boxing day game is away...
I know, what is the point of that? "Releasing" stuff like that a few minutes before everyone else knows. Serves no use whatsoever, other than for ego purposes

If the board do wish for a minimum 7th place finish...then we would need at least 7 points from those....

Exactly mate.
We are overdue to be in the top half of the table after 4 games. Kinda sick of looking up the league for the first couple of months

Away to Brighton on 2nd game that we NEVER win there in TOP FLIGHT!!!! Thanks for that PL!!!!! f&cking FAT 0 points and a FAT -7 Goal Different to start with
Let's not reach for the samaritans number too early - once we have concluded our transfer business and are equipped with a genius midfield distributor and an ice cool predatory finisher, then an opening 2-1 home win followed by a 0-1 VAR assisted goal, will have the everyone in a good mood and the pundits on MOTD confused...
Hope you are right as West Ham will be a lot stronger than last season as MP is good at improving the squad. Brighton got a new manager that take times to gel and not much funds on to buy players.

You say Top 6,but 4 of the teams we have played, finished in the Top 4 and 2 were Champions..Sorry,but someone is taking the piss..It`s actually the first time we have been at home for 5 years too.

Saying that, playing City at home with the crowd right up for it and them not in their stride yet, could benefit us.

Love the optimism, but after the spanking in China
It will be the usual 4-0 Citeh.

It’s not what you do it is the way that you do it.

I bow to your superior knowledge and wisdom, and I feel that you will hopefully forgive me for saying......there is a very significant chance that we could be actually bottom of the league at the said 3pm deadline. If, as expected, we get a new arse torn against City and loose by more goals than Norwich who are playing Liverpool on Friday night, then we could be firmly rooted to the bottom on a minus goal difference to Wolves who start the season in last position.
I may be out of turn voicing my views but I feel I had to to protect you against others who like to be pedantic when it comes to wrong statements, Please accept my apologies.
