I wouldn’t get too attached to him because if he turns out as great as some of you think he might, he won’t be around for long

we'll need success to hold onto them and we'll need to re-invest that success into making the squad better, if we don't qualify for euro and big clubs come sniffing we may run into some difficulty

first step is euro, we do that we'll be fine for a bit, we just cant stand still

You get what you pay for
Fucking around with mugs on freebies or a fraction of his transfer fee don’t expect a proper player.

It depends though, we managed to keep Diop with a huge price tag and a player that wanted to stay. Unless one of the biggest clubs come knocking there isnt really any reason to belive well be losing players to the lower tier CL clubs/Europa league clubs. The PL is just that economically ahead currently.

Hell we signed Haller from a EL club.

Our first choice was Maxi Gomez but we may have struck lucky.

He's been on the bench for two of their games and in the other, against his old club Celta Vigo, he was taken off after a very average performance.

Glad that we did not pay £44 millions on flop Gomez as I wasn't that 100% keen and glad we got Haller who he is rated much better goal-scoring striker.

Bit early to write Gomez off as a flop and it was always going to be a 3 way choice for the strikers' role there as he's competing with Rodrigo and Kevin Gameiro, both internationals.

Worked out very nicely for us though it seems.

TRADITION--Just because we've always done it like this doesn't mean it's not incredibly SILLY

Yes, The fact we are in London and the fact the PL is awash with money always helps for sure.
