How would you play our current midfield? 4-2-1-3 or 4-1-2-3?

I suppose it depends who you have available and what team you are playing.

or pellegrinis 4-2-2-2

but i don't think the formation is really that important.. its the players we have.. mostly our full backs who aren't the best defensively.. for that reason we need a player in the mould of vidal in the middle who can cover our fullbacks and give them the confidence to use their dribbling/pace

yes rice is probably the one covering those specific positions but then who puts the pressure in the middle of the park? our centre backs splitting? disaster.. we need that energetic midfielder to be there and try to stall the attack imho

our fullbacks had 1 assist a piece last season... and their best attributes shine in attack.. we are broken without that complete midfielder imho.. i really hope fornals is the answer as whiskeyman eluded to in another thread - could be just as important as haller for us

But Fornals is an attacking midfielder.Even though his a busy midfielder,I don't really think his defensive.

I believe they have a midfielder on their list but they want another attacker first. That is still the priority since Hugill is likely to leave and that would leave us with only Chicharito and Haller.

But managing / coaching at quite a good non league level is not premier league I know but

I will stick to my statement it depends on who you have to play and who you are playing

my favourite formation would be 3 5 2 but the 5 would have to be 2 electric wing backs and not included the cockney red shakeass shakeass shakeass shakeass shakeass shakeass shakeass

I reckon this year we addressed the striker issues. Next season we address the defensive midfield issues.
Unless Wanyama comes in.
