How did he pass a medical? I was told that he wasn’t fit until September at the earliest!??

I doubt it was much of a medical. Pay as you play for a season ?

An exercise in getting the fans onside by signing an old favourite.

As long as he doesn't score against us I wish him well. He's a good egg at heart.

“It’s all happening,” Jim White shouts on Sky Sports News. But apart from this bit of amusing business it wasn't all happening, was it.

AC was pictured wearing the zebra shirt and shaking hands with Steve "the guvnor" Brucie. Everyone is really looking forward to Andy getting fit and the plan is to achieve this project by September.

He will always be welcomed at the London stadium and if he does turn up - as an injured spectator - it will be just like old times...

I despise Jim White.

Head chief of the clan mammon. Where money is everything. Sky even had a first X1 of the costliest transfers this window on today. Haller was in it.

As for 'wor Andy', I make you right. I doubt he'll play 5 games for the season, but I'll always remember him fondly for that goal against Palace alone.

He never asked to be a walking wreck. Blame the Chuckle Brothers not him.

And Shrek of course.

What a pity he just can't keep fit.
A clever piece of business by them, I wish him well apart from when they play us of course.

Will hardly play and when he does the style of football required for him to be on the pitch will be as shit as it was when he occasionally played for us

Thank fuck he left West Ham

I think this was a desperate bit of business. They've lost Perez and Rondon, and £40m for Joelinton is a huge gamble.
He's not a prolific scorer --1 in every 3 or 4 games -- so they're gambling on youth and potential. That's not ideal when they need a goalscorer who can hit the ground running.
Enter wor Andy. When fit the ideal Plan B. Stick him on and hoof the ball forward. Except these days, even when he is fit, his target man mojo seems to have deserted him.
If I was a Geordie I'd be praying Joelinton is worth every penny of that price tag.

Communism deprives no man of the power to appropriate the products of society; all that it does is to deprive him of the power to subjugate the labour of others by means of such appropriations.
