It’s all ok out scoring opponents if you have the right tools at your disposal.
We haven’t.
We've got the tools to score......but.....

I only go very occasionally. Last season only the Huddersfield game which was the most exciting final 15 minutes I've ever seen.

But if a fucking shower like them can waltz through us like they did what chance do we have against City ?

Jan windows should be avoided like the plague imo. Our problem yesterday, apart from the obviou one that we were playing a team far better than anyone else, was that we continued with the gang ho tactics even when it became clear it wasn’t to be our day. At 0-2 i’d have gone into damage limitation mode.

IMO there is no need to panic.

Just yet.
I'd abolish them but for now we have them. The boy from Brazil said we'd not get Cuellar until the Brazilian league finished in December. Ideal time. Splash the cash.
Cuellar has had his head turned with all that has gone on at Flamengo and underhanded contract negotiations.
He had a meeting with the club directors last week and they have agreed that he can leave at the end of the season,( 2nd week in December). The fee would need to be around the 10 million euros mark, affordable.
The problem is can he wait, there have been two offers put in by Galatasaray and Inter Milan but so far have been refused. He wants out so could be pushed into a position where he leaves to join another club just as an escape. His heart is set on the PL, whereas our window has now shut the European is still open leaving them with the upper hand for the next 3 weeks.
IMO.....we have missed out big time on the type of player that would do a job for us.

I'm surprised we weren't all over this.

Box to box midfielder must be the priority now

But who could be that man?

I have two suggestions

Sergi Darder

Rolando Mandragora

The worst time of all to bring in recruitments. But we have to do it. Three windows have come and gone and the negligence in bringing in the player that would turn us from an unpredictable team into a bloody good team is staggering. Whether or not it's down to MP's bloody-mindedness or the dwarf's piggy-bank I don't know, but it's a necessity.

Apparently we have to offload a foreign player for it to happen. Well, you can give Sanchez away. As much use as a chocolate fire-guard. And although he's scored a few goals, the pea as well which would get 140,000 big ones off the wage bill.

Otherwise, it will be another season like the last, which had some high points but some fucking low ones too.
They did try and offload Hernandez to be fair.

sorry off topic but just read this Manchester United will subsidise an Alexis Sanchez loan to get him out of the club.

if he gets back to any sort of previous form would he be worth the punt?

If he got back to any sort of previous form, they’d keep him.

Hi Oz

yeah agree but if he was half the player he was his better than the pea

but saying that if we would not be able to shift pea if everyone had the same philosophy
as we would keep pea if he was any good ;)

Hope to get rid of:

Chicharito for 8 millions
Cresswell for 5 millions
Sanchez for 3 millions

And to get a better young replacement to build a WHOLE team.
